Giggling with my friend Emma on the sofa, I took another sip of wine.
‘Cheers,’ I smiled, as we clinked glasses.
It was September 2022, and it felt good to let my hair down.
A mum of four kids then aged 4 to14, there wasn’t much time for fun these days.
But now, my brood were at my sister’s for a sleepover.
I’d just split with my partner of seven years, Karl, then 36, and a drink with my mate was just what the doctor ordered.
