While it’s easy to assume that exploitation only happens in offshore manufacturing, this is unfortunately not the case. If it was, ECA wouldn’t need to exist. The structure and demographics of the textiles, clothing and footwear (TCF) industry can foster conditions that increase the risk of workers experiencing exploitation.
