About this audiobook
She’s a romantic at heart, living in the most unromantic of worlds ...
Nicknamed Sweet Abelli for her docile nature, Elena smiles on cue and has a charming response for everything. She’s the favored daughter, the perfect mafia principessa ... or was.
In the murky waters of New York’s underworld, Elena’s sister is arranged to marry Nicolas Russo. A Made Man, a boss, a cheat—even measured against mafia standards. His reputation is darker than his black suits and ties.
After Elena’s first encounter with Nicholas, she realizes he’s just as rude as he is handsome. She doesn’t like the man or anything he stands for, though that doesn’t stop her heart from pattering like rain against glass when he’s near, nor the shiver that goes down her spine at the sound of his voice.
And he’s always near. Telling her what to do. Making her feel hotter than any future brother-in-law should. Elena may be the Sweet Abelli on the outside, but she’s beginning to learn she has a taste for the darkness, for rough hands, cigarettes, and whiskey-colored eyes. Having already escaped one scandal, however, she can hardly afford to be swept up in another.
Besides, even if he were hers, everyone knows you don’t fall in love with a Made Man ... right?

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Mamma mia lol ok, it was interesting story until almost end. Elena at the end of story did something very stupid without any reason and Nicko forgive her, but its not in his character. And it’s stupid move by author. It’s my first mup book and I think the last one too.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I enjoyed the book and story line but the narrators pronunciation of “Mama” drove me a bit nuts.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I enjoyed the story and getting to know the characters. I need a sequel
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Coming from the NY/NJ area, some of this was entertaining… but mostly I hate listened.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5My first experience in the "mafia romance " genre. The only thing I hated was how the narrator said mama like a baby doll. It was distracting. Other than that I loved the narration, and the story. It was a little steady and sometimes when walking around the neighborhood I had to lower the volume so people didn't get more than they bargained. ??
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Is there such a thing as 'cute maffia romance'? If there is, this book is that!
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Story was fairly good. No real high point in the story, but still alright. Thought at point the way the audio book was read got a little cringey.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Loved the book from start to end. The electricity between the characters you can almost fill yourself.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I'm so glad I gave this a chance!!! I have seen this book all over the place (with good reviews), but didnt think it'd be my style. I was so wrong. It kept me hooked all the way through.
Its spicy and I love it. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Amazing from the start didn’t won’t it to end ?
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Ot wasn't awful. But I really wouldn't reccomend it. Very predictable and cliche
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5These hot mafia dons are just *chefs kiss*
Loved the story although I did wish it was a bit shorter. The narration was perfect - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5It has an amazing build up. Good pace and the male character is dominant without being weird
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Thoughtly I enjoyed this book What an awesome read this was

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5El segundo Nico que me enamora. Hace mucho que no me encantaba un libro del género.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book is exhausting, because of the constant miscommunication from the very beginning to the very end of the book. However, the immediate desire to want these characters together is there. It is so much fun, and I listened to it very quickly.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5? loved such a good book very intriguing book! ???????????

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Wow the book was awesome the characters ❤️loved it ❤️
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I enjoy romantic suspense, but never thought I'd enjoy one set in the mafia. I'm so glad I gave The Sweetest Oblivion a chance! I was engaged from the beginning and finished the book in a day! It's not as gruesome as I thought it might have been…the violence isn't overly descriptive. Elena and Nico are both likeable characters, in spite of the world in which they live. They don't negate the lifestyle of a mafioso, but they each have a code that drives their choices. Nico is a don and clearly an alpha. Elena is known for her “sweetness,” but is testing the waters to move outside of the stringent boundaries in which she's been raised. Once they meet, their attraction is something neither can deny.
Narration was very good. I highly recommend The Sweetest Oblivion! - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5The way I hated Nico at the beginning of the book only for him to raise my already impossible to reach standards. Only one thing came to mind that he kept saying at the beginning "Assumptions?" I'm sorry my man, I'll never assume a single thing again. I think this book opened a whole new door to a genre I thought I wasn't gonna be into. And the end?! I'm not gonna give any spoilers, but come on, men like that don't exist and now I'm gonna stay single forever unless I become that type of person in a relationship.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5So so so good I loved the story the way the author kept me hooked!!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This was everything I didn’t know I needed. My first mafia romance & definitely not my last.
