About this audiobook
Jordan Collins doesn’t need a man.
What he needs is for his favorite author to release another one of her sexy supernatural novels and more people to sign up for the romance book club that he fears is slowly and steadily losing its steam. He also needs for the new employee at his local bookstore to stop making fun of him for reading things meant for “grandmas.”
The very last thing he needs is for that same employee, Rex Bailey, to waltz into his living room and ask to join Meet Cute Club. Despite his immediate thoughts—like laughing in his face and telling him to kick rocks—Jordan decides that if he wants this club to continue thriving, he can’t turn away any new members. Not even ones like Rex, who somehow manage to be both frustratingly obnoxious and breathtakingly handsome.
As Jordan and Rex team up to bring the club back from the ashes, Jordan soon discovers that Rex might not be the arrogant troll he made himself out to be, and that, like with all things in life, maybe he was wrong to judge a book by its cover.
Editor's Note
"Cinnamon Roll" Hero...
“Meet Cute Club” is the epitome of an adorkable romance. The cinnamon roll hero, Jordan, just wants to create community through his romance novel book club, and is discouraged when members start leaving. Adding to that indignity is his favorite bookstore’s new employee, Rex, who makes fun of him for his taste in books. But when Rex joins the Meet Cute Club, Jordan can’t resist his charm. This romance will put a warm, sappy smile on your face when you’ve finished.
Jack Harbon
Jack Harbon is your typical, eccentric twenty-something writing stories much more interesting than his real life. If he's not writing, he's either reading domestic thrillers about women in peril, watching trashy reality TV shows, or playing The Sims.

What our readers think
Readers find this title to be a cute and enjoyable queer love story about bookworms in a romance book club. While some readers found the frequent switches in perspective confusing, others appreciated the complexity of the story. The characters were a mix of likeable and annoying, but overall, the book was short, sweet, and satisfying. Although it didn't evoke strong emotions, readers still found it enjoyable and would consider rereading it in the future.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This is a new author to me who has been on my tbr for too long. I really enjoyed this story of a book club and meeting ‘the one’ in a book store. The narrator was also good. I would definitely recommend.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I found this to be an enjoyable read. While romance isn't my usual genre, I'm glad I gave this novel a try.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I loved this. It was really cute and a quick read/listen.
4.75 - Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Switches who's perspective it is a lot and it's confusing to figure out who's talking if you're not paying very close attention.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5It was a steamy queer love story featuring two bookworms in a romance book club. Of course, I liked it. And the grand gesture at the very end, was the cherry on top!
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5the narration was fine.
both main characters were unbearably annoying and the story was unbelievable to the point of taking me out of the book. I like a romance with some whimsy, but this just wasn’t it. - Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5So Meet Cute Club was.... Cute. Im not a romance reader. I thought i was going to DNF at about a quarter of the way through but i stuck it out. Glad i did. It wasnt as smooshy and gag worthy as i expect all romance to be.
But i cant say its swayed me to like the genre much more than i did before. I like the characters ok but i was more interested in the Sassy Gran and the Book Club members. oh and that guy from the service station shop. I thought something would come from him. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Really loved this! Short and sweet. Rex is a bit of an asshole at first, but he makes up for it very quickly.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Cute MM book about book clubs and love and family and how it's all so complicated.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book was so cute! I loved Jordan and Rex! I'm so glad they got back together in the end!
I'm actually rating this book 4.5 stars. Because I never laughed or cried during it. If I ever reread this book (like next June) , I'll rate it five stars!
I read this book on June 18th, 2022.
