      Well written. Absolutely not what I expected but a great book overall

      A short story with a semi unpredictable plot. But I dont mind. Instead I wish they could go on a bit more exploring why the one who did the crime can turn so evil despite the good upbringing. I want to know more of that, but overall the parent's portrayal on how they handling being a victim's parents or the prepetator's parent are a nice perspective to learn from.

      Lucinda Berry never disappoints. I knocked this one to the top of my tbr after seeing it on tiktok. A lawyer who volunteers at a suicide hot line takes a call that will change her life forever. How can she help this victim on the phone? Who hurt her? And are they closer than she thinks? It's a very quick audiobook.

      I think I suspected right away what the ending would be. I just didn’t think there would be follow through.

      This book was very interesting because some of it mirrors the real life instances of people but the outcome isn’t always what we on the outside would want.

      Solid book, I was hooked because I needed to know the outcome.

      This was a super fast listen. Only about 3.5 hours? But it was packed full in those 3-4 hours with angst, and suspense. I enjoyed it. Although I will say that I had the ending figured out very very quickly into the book. 3.5 stars… rounded up, ya know.

      This was well written, and very entertaining. It dealt with the devastating subject with consideration and decency. The only drawback was the vocal fry on the reader almost made me stop reading. OK
