      Wow! This was so good! Narrator was amazing as well. It had a Greek sense to it mixed with vampires and werewolf.

      Great series. Loved it. The 3rd book is out but not in the scribd library. Kindly urgently update library so we can continue with series. 4th book(A War of Two Queens) should be out on 15 March, 2022.

      I’m so confused with this series. Is it well written? Absolutely not. I will be on my death bed and the only thing I will remember is that Casteel smells of spice, pine, and citrus. This book is way to heavy on the angst, foreshadowing is odd, super gruesome at times for seemingly no reason.

      That said, I can’t get enough and will be immediately binging the third book. Their chemistry is off the charts, the plot is thick, and rich, and surprising, and beautiful.

      I’m interested in where the plot is leading, but I hated the constant misunderstand/miscommunication trope. I’m not a fan of the trope but this book took it a step further by making it the main plot point until chapter 35 and even then not completely out of the book till chapter 40! It was infuriating! I like the last 5 chapters enough to read the next book, but only just.

      It's rare for the 2nd book in a series to be as good as the first one, but in this case it is BETTER than book #1! The plot is more interesting and character development is more mature and nuanced. The romance storyline is hot! Slightly predictable but not overly so. Stina Nelson hit a home run with the narration. It is a masterclass. On to book #3!

      Riveting and compelling as the excellent story continues to unfold. The characters are intense and complex and multi layered. And the story itself is even more intriguing. This is an excellent literary achievement, that I believe will stand the test of time. This is a must read if you are a fan of sci-fi/fantasy epic tales! I highly recommend!
