About this audiobook

Can dreams foretell the future? Every night Jonathon returns to the same nightmare…where a cat that seems spawned from hell is always waiting for him. The dreams began at the stroke of midnight, but the following dreams happen one minute later than the night before.

A sense of dread looms over him as the clock ticks ever closer to 13 past midnight. Will he realize they’re nothing more than frightening dreams…or will he die in his sleep?

This is not The Stephen King it's a guy who happened to also have the same name. He was forced to put his middle initial in. And was using the same font as the real SK to get sales. A quick look at his writing will tell anyone familiar with the real Stephen King that this is not him.

King always does an excellent job of putting a character’s inner self on the page in such a way that readers receive full bodied emotions simply from words.

Awful that the author tried to pretend he was Stephen King. When he had a character mention that her father is a priest as if that was just another job, I totally gave up.

If I could give this a drivel negative stars, I would. This is not Stephen King, this is a very bad imitation. Imitation is not the sincerest form of flattery.

Of course, after listening to this book I realised I had selected it thinking it was a Stephen King novel. I didn’t particularly enjoy it and struggled to the end. I did some research on the author and I may try another of his books, as this book was promising in some aspects. Now that I know it’s a different author, I’ll not make comparisons to Stephen King’s other books! Try it, you may like it, and it’s only a couple of hours long so not a huge investment of time.
