    The Holiest of All is a devotional exposition of the Epistle to the Hebrews. It was written towards the end of the nineteenth century and has since become a classic. Its pages lead the reader into a practical understanding of who Christ is, the power of his finished work on the Cross and his present intercession for believers.     Andrew Murray

    Andrew Murray was born in Graaff Reinet, South Africa. He received his initial education at Aberdeen in Scotland, and remained there until he obtained his master's degree in 1845. From there, he went to the University of Utrecht where he studied theology. He was ordained by the Hague Committee of the Dutch Reformed Church on 9 May 1848 and returned to South Africa. Andrew pastored churches in Bloemfontein, Worcester, Cape Town and Wellington, in South Africa. He was a champion of the South African Revival of 1860, and founded the Africa Evangelical Fellowship. He died on 18 January 1917, four months before his eighty-ninth birthday.

      This work on the Book of Hebrews by Andrew Murray is a testament to the life he lived in Christ. It is truly a wealth of divine understanding of all that Jesus Christ has done for us in His Office as Mediator, King and High Priest. The Way to throne of God has been truly opened for us to ever live before God in Christ Jesus.
