I’ve never heard of Book so heartfelt. I love that Max helped the girl escape and find her sister and I think they even fell in love I don’t know. If I wrote the story I would put this the girl said I love you too Max when she gave him the kitten.

A touching story of a boy missing his documents, the courage to help others get to safety even if it is dangerous, and the mystery of what has happened to those who have gone on to Mañanaland. The story is set in a fictitious country (which is why some label this fantasy), but it could be in many real places around the world. Hand this to those who want to better understand the plight of undocumented persons and refugees.

    This book was Amazing!!!!

I love how at the beginning Max is only doing the how rescue thing just to prove himself. Then realized that the little girls problems make his feel like whatever.

It is so sad to me that they have to say bye in the end.

But I definitely think the author should of made the girl older and had them fall in love or at least have a close bond and tell us what happens a little later on in their lives and they get married or something.

But hey this book was Great! With a capital G!
