About this audiobook

Lighthouse Jive audiobook READ BY THE AUTHOR

He has come to the island to get away from the world...

Theodore Lambert is disillusioned with the world. But who cares? Theodore’s wife, Amber, is convinced that the end of the world is coming in the form of a giant asteroid. Needing a holiday, Theodore and his family find themselves living in a mystical island lighthouse on the wild Atlantic coast of Ireland, far away from the lunacy of the modern world. But not far enough, apparently...

But now the world is coming to the island.

Author

Jonathan Dunne

Admittedly, Jonathan has done things arseways most of his life, from completing a BA in Literature in his thirties to fitting teeth brackets (30's, porcelain). During this general confusion, Jonathan has had various short stories published. Jonathan suffers from photophobia though has a tendency towards fireworks. Originally from Limerick, Ireland, he now lives the reclusive life in Toledo, Spain, as a bearded hermit, with his wife and three daughters. He is known to be found in the local cemetery at the weekend during daylight hours, though for goodness sake, don’t sneak up on him.

I too, am in love with this author's stories! He is now one of my favs and have almost read all that are available on here. This one is my least fav so far, but still a good listen. Check him out for yourself, he is worth it.

Dunne is fabulous as an author and narrator. I love his dark humor and quick wit. His sassy characters are all strongly developed and unique. His vision of people and the world immerses you into dark satire, keeping the reader locked into the rolling suspense. Incredible visual depictions drops you into his world, and you are smack dab in the mist of it all. This was the first one that wasn't a horror tale but it was fantastic. Love his work.
