Whilst on a Fulbright scholarship [to France, she met her British husband and subsequently moved to the UK. On one of her husband’s many postings abroad, the family lived in India for two years which initiated her interest in everything Indian - especially religion. On return to London she took a second B.A. degree in South Asian Studies at the School of Oriental and African Studies (Univ. of London) and later a PhD. Her previously translated and published texts are: The Kulacu?ama?i Tantra and the Vamakesvara Tantra.view less
