Liron Yankonsky
Liron Yankonsky was born in Israel in 1990, under the gulf war's bombing sounds. Luckily he survived it, and has been drawing ever since he could hold a crayon. At age six, it was already clear that Liron had an intuitive understanding of different art concepts, as reflected in his perfect recreations of Dr. Seuss's books, in his spare time. Growing up, Liron served in the IDF, receiving numerous certificates of excellence for his duty. Throughout the years, Liron kept cultivating his art and drawing talent, while teaching other people the things he learned. Today, his biggest passions are drawing, self development and helping other people. He recently published his first book: "Draw In Perspective By This Weekend - For the Extreme Beginner". Liron also writes a "How to" blog on drawing.

Introduction
Hey there, my dear reader!
My name is Liron, and I have been drawing ever since I could hold a crayon! In fact, I’ve had so much fun drawing while growing up, that I just kept drawing and drawing, and I bet that is exactly how I became better at it. Besides that, I love self development and traveling!
I am very happy you have decided to purchase this book, and I truly believe it will help you get what you want, which is the ability to draw roses like a champ!
beautiful colored roseThis book is built in such a way that, it is possible to delve in really deep, understanding all parts of the rose and how to draw them. It will also provide a lot of extra lessons on drawing in general. On the other hand, it is also possible to get straight to the juicy step by step lessons. If you truly want to learn art, and improve in art in general, I recommend you read EVERYTHING. Besides, I poured my heart into it, and will appreciate it if it will be read wholly. But, if what you are looking for is a quick reference, feel free to read at whichever order you like.
I honestly believe that when taught correctly, anyone can learn how to draw and create great works of art and design. All it takes is guts, determination and the willingness to work hard and put in the time.
This book’s structure is simple. First, you will go through a crash course
in drawing. Then, we will look into the different parts of the rose. Afterward we will have a small and fun exercise, and finally we will go through numerous step by step lessons, designed to challenge and improve your drawing hand, as well as your mind. In the end, there are two bonus chapters on inking and painting our awesome drawings.
So now that we are ready, let us begin!

Before we even get to drawing, let us talk about our subject of drawing. It is important to become familiar with our subject of drawing as much as possible. This will help us later on with understanding what we are drawing.
The rose is a perennial plant, which means it lives for more then two years. The rose has more then a 100 different species. Actually, it has thousands of different varieties and cultivations around the world. The rose plants can erect and climb with their stems. They do this by using their prickles, which are often mistaken for thorns. A prickle is an outgrowth of the epidermis (the outer skin
layer of the stem), while a thorn is actually another independent stem, only modified. Roses have had many uses throughout history, and are made into many products such as perfumes, medicine, drinks and even foods!
But enough with the dry facts, here are some things you probably didn’t know about roses:
Black roses do not actually exist. There are deep and dark red colored roses, that come close to black.
A fossilized rose, believed to be over 35 million years old, was found in Florissant,
