      Introduction

      I cannot think majority of times for if I do I end up in a dark place, in a world where I ‘am eternally condemned by those dear to me, unwanted and mentally broken. This book was written not out of a place of happiness but that painful door in your mind that leads to a room full of memories, pictures, thoughts, and actual scenes fiction and real that left a painful scar on you. They say like gaydar, pain recognizes pain and for years I have hid my pain of being gay and not truly loved. Yes my family loves me but they can never truly love me because they do not know me; they do not accept my lifestyle so therefore they love only a part of me. Sometimes as I lay staring at the sofa in the living room before I go to sleep I run down the list of things that could happen if I came out the next day, they all started and ended with hurt, abandonment, and death.

      In life everyone gets hurts sometimes we cause pain to another not even knowing that what we said or did hit a nerve in that individual for example every homophobic slur that is uttered out of my father and sisters mouth degrades me day by day,
