FOREWORD
When I met Zack Jezek. I was juggling several different options in regards to publishing my book. Should I self-publish or take one of the book deals I had been offered? I had spoken to Zack about the crawling progress several times at various speaking events, and on one such occasion we really got in depth about the process. It became apparent to me that Zack really seemed to know what he was doing. I always wanted the freedom to know whether or not the creative decisions I wanted to make were possible, and if so, how to implement them. I was also very concerned that getting a publishing deal might sacrifice that freedom and creativity. I very quickly saw that Zack was quite knowledgeable on the subject. After chatting for a bit, I set up an appointment for the next day. When Zack came over the following day and sat down I realized he wasn’t playing at being an expert like many in the speaking industry do, he knew exactly what he was doing. It was about four hours later that I sat there reeling over how much I had learned, and how little I actually knew about the process of self-publishing.
Zack absolutely shocked me with his knowledge and expertise on the subject. So much so, that I offered him a percentage of my book for a more in depth look at what we could do together. The result after a few months of work was Methodology of the Modern Male The Modern Male’s Guide to Personal Excellence.
Deftly illustrated by Zack himself, that book quickly became an international bestseller, and I landed my own radio show for LA Talk Radio as a result.
From beginning to end Zack covered all the bases and really helped me dial in what I needed to do. From my message, to the marketing, Zack was able to hone in on what was most important with a supportive flexibility I haven’t encountered in many people. The whole time we had been working together it had been sitting there, untouched, collecting dust amongst the other guru drivel Distinct Press had masochistically published. So for lack of anything better to do, I picked it up and began reading.

Much to my surprise and the utter shock of my ego, I had assumed wrongly. Zack had included everything we had done together.
