- (4/5)Love this musical, and I am so glad to have found a piano/vocal arrangement that DOESN'T have the melody in the right hand here on Everand. As a longtime purchaser of Broadway Musical songbooks since forever, I am glad that many publishers finally began transcribing them this way a while ago after decades of doing it the former way for so many years. It is so much more enjoyable and musically correct to play a piano accompaniment reduction of the original pit orchestra arrangement than the way these songbooks used to be transcribed.
The only issue I have with this and all of the other songbooks I've found here on Everand is that none of them have any page numbers printed on the pages as they would have in a physical ptinted songbook. It's quite annoying to jump from one place to another while learning a song with no page numbers. Thankfully, the bar numbers are at the beginning of each stave to help.
Also, when I attempt to go to a particular song according to the page numbers in the table of contents, I am always taken to an incorrect location in the book. And with no page numbers, as I mentioned, it's difficult to navigate to the correct song from where I've been taken.
I contacted Everand's tech support regarding these issues, and if I remember correctly, I was told that this has to do with the publishers and that Everand has no control over it. So, I guess as is often said, it is what it is.
