Reflections of a Simple Human

About this ebook
In this book, I promise to share how I feel confused and how that confusion lingers quietly in the back of my mind, even when Im forced to be strong and determined and organized and focused and disciplined and driven. I wrote this book because life is confusing, scary, difficult, and complicated. But it is also grand and magnificent and rewarding.
I share my thoughts, my poetic attempts and statements of personal truth with you.

Dear Reader,
I tried my best to write this book with a certain genre in mind, with a specific topic as my focus, staying consistent with what I was writing, but I found myself incapable of doing that.
I realized that during this time filled with so many emotions, so many questions, so many doubts, and so many uncertainties, I would be holding back from my own potential to explore the uninhabited places that reside within me. Because of this I did not want to limit myself to one style, one conclusion, and one thought process. I wanted to explore all possibilities and allow myself to wonder freely, day dreaming, guessing and suggesting what might sound like the impossible, pushing myself beyond my own limitations. I did not want to choose one way of seeing the world, my circumstances, my challenges or my victories. That’s what I’ve done most of my life. If you’re like me, you’ve told yourself you have to choose one thing to focus on because this shows dedication, this shows discipline, and this shows that you’ve become an expert in some way. It will gain you more credibility. Honestly speaking, that is not what life always looks like nor is it how life unfolds for many of us. So I don’t want to do that with this book. And, I don’t want to do that when it comes to my writing. This book is being written as a way for me to express all of my thoughts, all of the things that are going on in my head, uncompromised, and unfiltered, without any excuses, without any apologies. I promised myself that I would share my true feelings, my struggles, and all the triumphant moments I’ve rejoiced in. I will share aspects of my faith, I will share the chaos and the
