INSPIRATION FOR
A BASKET OF STONES
Over the years, people have asked me for copies of various poems and prose that I have written. I decided to compile a few into a book that people could access and share easily. G.W. Sheahan and I co-authored a book titled Everlasting Moon and published it through Xlibris after deciding not to sell all of our rights to a large publishing company. Once again, Xlibris has assisted me in order to publish this collection. Thanks to you, Xlibris, for your gracious support and to everyone who appreciates my mental meanderings. With my humble gratitude to all, I offer you my Basket Of Stones
with love.
IN MEMORY OF MY SON:
RONALD DALE REA
MAY 15, 1963 – OCTOBER 13, 2015
When my son died
It was as if a huge grandfather tree fell over hard
Somewhere deep in the forest
Of my heart.
