Solomon

Chapter 1:

Aza

He rolled off me as the morning roster started it day. I got up from the mattress that I sleep on and walked out the tiny shed that is my little prison at night and my sanctuary during the day. I shifted the nightie that i wore and walked off to the forest bare foot. I walked the short distance deep in the words till i got to the little stream that by the far end. Its puzzles me how warm the water is in the morning every time i get here and how cold it is during the day. It wasn’t dark but it wasn’t sunny it was okay that my eyes adjusted to it. I stripped and looked around then got in the little stream and pond,which is now my  safe heaven. I sat on the little rock and had the water cover all of my body and let the tears roll off my face as the nights events played in my head. My uncle walking in my shed that you cant lock, drunk with his pants unzipped and his dick hanging out.

fuck me was all he roared and i looked at him not sure what to do he grabbed me and threw me on the mattress and i watched it go hard and that when i closed my eyes and let him have me. Its better for him to do so then for my body to be covered in beatings, its better to have him buried in me then for me to go days without food, its better to have him toss me around the whole night when ever the urge strikes then to have my aunt throw insults at me through out the day and make me work like a slave. Nights like this I wake up a little later, am allowed to do so. I have3 full meals and I get a new dress on my mattress or a new book to read or something that will take away the edge to kill myself. I woke up to green eyes looking at me and I froze. This is my sanctuary, this is my home for the past years, iv never seen anything dangerous in these part of the forest, iv never come across something so majestic and huge but beautiful. Iv never seen a white lion with a few strands of black here and there. And even though am allowed to watch Tv once a month iv never thought that lions are this huge. I swallowed hard, i felt fear grip my heart just for a moment then I laughed. I really don’t know why am laughing when such a beast is before me but i laughed at how funny God can be. Iv prayed and pictured my death so many times but never have I thought ill be eaten by a lion at the one place that i felt safe in. I laughed because not even a lion had an appetite to eat me. There it was standing there looking at me as if am crazy. When i finally could contain myself i stood up and washed all of my bruised and scared body that told a story that needs no words. When done i turned to it and saw it looking away which made me laugh.

having second thoughts? I asked swimming to exactly where it was. If am dying, its eating me on my terms.

well am not much to look at but am pretty sure you will enjoy the bones more, something you can nibble on i stood right in front of it and it looked at away again making me laugh.

yep am not much, i know. I watched it move my nightie with it paws and shift it to where am standing.

oh want to get the pleasure of ripping the nightie off? I quickly slipped it on then watched it turn it head to me. My heart was pounding so fast but this was better then what iv been through, this was better then having another day in this thing u called life.

am ready, rip me apart oh dear lion!!! It looked at me and felt it eyes intense on me for a while as if reading deep into my soul.

eat me!!!! My voice was begging

It got up and i watched it over power me by how tall it was. I felt it breath on me and instead of eating me it jumped off to stand a little far from me and i slowly went down.

lord oh lord why not now!!!! I screamed so loud, picked up the little rocks near me and throw to the sky screaming all swearing words begging God to make this lion eat me. When i couldn’t anymore i sat down leaning to the huge stone and looked at the lion standing there looking at me.

just eat me i begged my voice a whisper. It roared loud as if it heard me and I swear that roar sounded angry as if it was saying no as all the birds and animals in the forest flew away fearing what to come.

fuck you!!! I threw a rock to it and it looked at the rock landing a few feet from it. Wind blew and i felt a chill so i got up and steeled my shoulders and walked off the same way i entered the forest, the forest that people say, no man enters and live to talk about. I walked the short distance to a placed called home but more like prison and turned to see the lion following.

i asked you to eat me not to follow me around!!! I snapped at it and it stopped and i walked the short distance out of the woods, when i turned it was standing there looking at me as I opened the small back gate and got in my prison. Another day on earth... just great!!!...

Chapter 2:

Royal kingdom

I walked in after my morning jog to my family standing by the foyer singing happy birthday. I watched how happy they looked so i stood there and took it all in and when they were done i blew the candles that were30 formed. My mom moved closer and kissed my cheek like how she usually does every day she sees me and my baby brother gave me a small packet.

My dad was looking at me as everyone assembled in the lounge.

Dad: Wanna talk about it? Dad asked as soon as we sat down.

Silver: Who frowns when they meet a new love interest?

Dad: What you know about love?

She kept quiet and I looked at everyone.

Mom: Son

yes i meet someone everyone stopped eating and looked at me.

Dad: Son... what the elders said yesterday...

Silver: Then? I watched dad look at her and my sister not looking at him, she was fascinated by all of this

" i meet a woman or should i say a girl? But she was so tiny, un nourished that am not sure if she is a girl or a woman but her body...

Mom: Woah... body?

I was silent.

Dad: Look we get you different son, get you got the ancestral gift and things are different for you and you turning 30 is a big deal but...

she was naked in the secret ancestral pond. She was soaking in there when i went there to get some clarity in my pure form!!! Everyone gaps cause no one has seen me in my pure form for years now.

Mom: Am sorry but ill ask, the girl went in the woods? Found the secret doors to the sacred forest within the forest and went in the secret pond? And she is alive??

followed her off to her house

Sandy: She is alive?

Silver: Did you scare her? 

yes she is alive and  no I didn’t

Silver: What you mean you didn’t, you were a fucken lion when she saw you

Mom and dad: language!!!

she said eat me everyone was silent.

Dad finally cleared his throat.

Dad: She saw you in your pure form and she said eat me?

Yep

Sandy: Did you?

Mom: i highly doubt if we did we will be talking about it on breakfast.

Sandy: Well he hasn’t Eaten yet so maybe he...

Mom and Dad: Sandy!!!! But everyone turned to look at me waiting to hear my side of things.

" am cancelling all my day meeting today and and am driving to her village, it just a neighbouring village that might have fallen in my rule with the new law.

Mom: but

i need to see her mom. There was silence everyone ate.

Silver: Is she our next Queen?

I saw them looking at me and said nothing but the urge to see her was growing.

I can’t explain it but i need to see her!!! ...

Chapter 3:

Aza

The whole house was going crazy as Solomon the third our new king is coming to see the village I watched everyone get dress to go to his meeting at the community hall. I watched helicopters flying everywhere for this and i just stood by my little garden and felt the air on my skin. My aunt walked out dressed in all her nice clothes with her girls.

Aunt Fikz: we leaving mama.

I nodded

Thoba: You not coming

Aunt Fikz: Look at her, do you think the king will want someone like her?

Thoba: Ma!!! Thoba was the kind cousin not like the other ones. She always wanted to bring friendship but i really wasn’t interested.

I haven’t swept the yard she nodded and her mom looked at me. Sometimes i felt her pity for me just for a split second then it back to being a slave. They left then i finished the garden went in the house where my grandmother was sitting on her chair. I poured warm water in the tub like how i usually do every time everyone is not around then helped her get in the tub after i stripped her naked. I steal all my aunts oils make bubbles for her and let her relax. I leave her like that because she no longer talks but i know she comfortable. I got her the best dress out of her dresses and then helped her out and got her dressed up. When done i made warm food for her and feed her all in silence. Then walked her to the lounge.

switched on the tv for her and she watched. As always she will lightly brush my hand as a thank you and i left. I went outside swept the yard and froze when the same lion stood by my yard a little far from where i was.

you got to be kidding me, couldn’t eat me earlier on  so fuck off!!! I turned and did my chore when done i went in the house the lion was still there so i feared for it and walked out and watched it follow me all the way to the forest. When i got there i turned and froze there stood a man, he was so tall and masculine with beautiful strong features. He looked like God took his time creating him. He had a cute hair cut that made him look younger then his age but he had fine lines that showed he was a little older.  His eyes were light green like a crystal glass. Different and unique and it felt like it was searching my soul

Solomon he extended his hand and i looked at it. I really don’t have people skills.

your family named you after the king?

Solomon: Yes

weird i looked around for the lion and never saw it so I walked and he shifted stopping me.

can you move please!

Solomon: How old are you?

I looked at him for sometime and i looked away since his eyes were too intense.

He nodded and moved and i walked back home and never looked back.

The visit to the village was interesting and i saw a lot of things that ill like to change. When i finally got home got to my section of the house and took a long bath then threw myself on my bed. The door opened and Silver my younger sister walked in.

Silver: You avoiding us

am not

Silver: Its your birthday and people your age are out clubbing and  you here.

She laid next to me and looked up the ceiling.

Silver: tell me about her. My sister is a big advocate of love and now she has this notion stuck in her head.

Silver: Umm a little more information.

she short, skinny beyond words and dark skin the kind that makes you wonder what lotion she uses. She has so much hair that she can’t manage it so its like a bush, she likes walking bare foot and she has a smart mouth but i like that she speaks her mind and she is very dismissive when she doesn’t like anything

Silver: What her name?

I shrugged

Silver: You don’t know?

Sandy: Who not a people person? Sandy walked in and laid on my other side.

Silver: The girl his in love with.

Sandy: you using big words, in love?

Silver: Did you tell her you Solomon the Third?

Silver: So in other words she doesn’t know you our new king?

Silver: Well you making the news lately so she will know who you are in a few days. That seemed to make me more nervous,I have a feeling she don’t like the monarchy.

Chapter 4:

Aza

Everyone came back talking about how handsome the king was, how amazing the voice was. I sat there and listened while eating.

Aunt fikz: someone said his going to be looking for a wife soon.
