About this ebook

The worst summer of her life has one seriously hot perk . . .

These days, everything in Katelyn Jackson’s life revolves around her pop star brother. His schedule, his tour, his fans—it’s like Connor Jackson’s become the center of the universe. And when the entire family decides to join Connor’s tour, Katelyn has to kiss her soccer team, her friends—and her entire summer—goodbye.

The only good news is the opening act is none other than her favorite band with the hottest lead singer ever. Zach Matthews, with his deep caramel eyes, makes Katelyn’s heart pound a zillion beat per minute. Don’t mind me, I’m just fangirling over here.

Between the endless bus rides and cruddy room service, some serious chemistry develops between Katelyn and Zach. But as they say, all is not fair in love and pop stardom and Katelyn will have to decide if she’s willing to take a risk or if she’s just along for the ride.

Take a girl who’s a very good high school soccer player. Have her overshadowed by her brother’s early success as a singer. Force her to accompany her family while said brother goes on a summer long tour. However, there’s a secret (for her) perk to having to go on the tour, Skyline, a four brother band is opening for her brother and Zach, the youngest is Katelyn’s secret crush. While the general plot outline isn’t unique, several story elements are and they’re woven deftly and intelligently into the plot. Characters who could have easily become stereotypes, namely her brother and mother, are anything but and Zach’s brothers are fully fleshed and very likable. I hope the author continues writing good stuff like this.
