"Sixteen," follows the journey of high school student Monica wanting to go to her first small-town dance, but a few obstacles stand in her way. Always having to babysit her younger brother, Monica finally gets permission to go to the dance, until her parents inform her that they'll be late coming back from their dinner causing her to be stuck at home.
"Sister," tells the story of Emiko and her fight for justice. After being plagued by haunting nightmares for years, Emiko finally learns Akira, her older sister, is not her biological sister, but the woman who saved her from death and raised her as her own. Emiko, taken aback by this sudden revelation, wants answers as to who murdered her family. On a stormy night, Akira decides to reveal the whole story.
"Two Sides," is the story of two estranged lovers, Jace and Catalina. When Jace, the ex returns home after abandoning Catalina in her time of need, it's been a whole year. No communication has been had and Catalina has moved on with her life and when Jace enters back into the picture, Catalina has to decide whether to hear him out or make him leave for good this time. Unbeknownst to Jace, Catalina has a secret of her own.
"Isolated," tells the story of Mila and Xavi, siblings who meet face-to-face in the jail Xavi is incarcerated in. After their parents died, Xavi left Mila, and shortly after she was put into the foster care system. After ten years, Xavi calls Mila so he can make amends and explain his reasonings. Mila is hesitant to listen but is forced to stay inside the visitation room when an alarm is sounded throughout the jail.

Cassidy Rivera is a television writer who writes romance, comedy, drama, and fantasy. She has received a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida, with a major in Theatre Performance and a minor in Creative Writing. She is currently pursuing a BFA in Creative Writing at Full Sail University to keep enhancing and building on her craft. She enjoys spending time with her loud, proud, and large Hispanic family who has given her plenty of insight into her culture. Those who came before her have deeply influenced her writing.
