Mercy - Andrés Barreda
2 Poems:
––––––––
Universally
and
Death and life
Universally
First and last commander
Born sinner... oblique and cubic
my bed, the pantheon of the poet that tends to roar
cameras refuse to discuss or illuminate
prose and verse...decapitate the eternal fires.
I am not afraid to sleep or stay awake
I am a poet, neither a liar nor tender... I finish last,
I am not afraid... of the nonsense of other fools
neither to the pages, nor to the lurking.
I am commander of my own hole... deluded and without fear of zero
I think... with the socket of my eyes, God's meadow
the scary night, the fear of the cold, the fear of the same fear
the perfect parable, the noise of a lion.
When the bishop is silent
Solving universal temples
deep breathing, eternal icaros...
close your eyes tightly, and atrocious human flights.
Without luxuries and without details... or deadly silences
We are part of a worthy universe... why fight?
the fall of entire Berlin, the fall of Madrid as well
My own poet's funeral was yesterday, just as dawn broke
the usual yesterday, that distant yesterday from a long time ago,
The vast sky lulls all the days of yesterday, who remembers them?
And who can hide the truth... could it be prudence? the text...
the noise... the olive blossoms in the middle of the morning, the vagina
or the silence of a kind of already dead saints...
who never knew how to love a woman
What happened to the madness? who banned it
the quiet one... the rumor, the
