About this ebook

This is a must-have book for anyone who either has ADHD as an adult, or is the partner of someone with ADHD. It covers ADHD, and its implications in the workplace, at home and also within a relationship. Whilst the book isn't meant to replace clinical guidance, it does help support people from a first-hand perspective, with key actionable changes that an individual and those around the individual can make to make living life that much easier.

Combined together, these three areas make up for the majority of circumstances in which an individual with ADHD will find challenges, and we wanted to combine all three settings and provide setting-specific advice.

The book as the following chapters:

Getting Organised with Adult ADHD at Work

Getting Organised with Adult ADHD at Home

Getting Organised with Adult ADHD in Relationships

We would love to hear your feedback, so if you do get a copy then please don't hesitate to provide honest feedback, as I would like any future edition to benefit from user feedback from people that have tried and tested this method.

Many thanks for reading,

    Introduction

For some adults it can take many years to establish that the challenges they have been having in their adult life might be related to a neurodevelopmental disease called ADHD. Whilst this book isn’t about diagnosis (you should refer to your local healthcare provider for that clinical pathway), this short tome will provide you a structure for getting organised in three key areas in your life. Organisational skills in these areas will pay dividends in terms of your overall life satisfaction. These three areas are:

    Getting organised at home

    Getting organised at work

Getting organised in your personal life

Whilst all adults would find tips and advice useful in these three areas, individuals with ADHD particularly struggle as they either have an attention deficit that hampers strategic decision making and planning, or they have an impulsivity inclination that increases risk-taking behaviours (and thereby shortcuts any strategic decision).

Our understanding of Adult ADHD over the years

Before we get stuck into these three areas, and provide you with useful tools, tips, tricks and strategies, I wanted to
