      Chapter 1:

      From Whisk Me Away to Bun in the Oven

      The aroma of freshly baked cinnamon rolls swirled through the air, mingling with the nervous excitement buzzing around Maya's pregnant belly. Six months into her pregnancy, Proofed for Perfection wasn't just her bakery; it was a haven of warmth, flour, and the promise of a new chapter in her life with Ethan.

      Careful with the cinnamon, love, Ethan chuckled, gently guiding her hand from the overflowing spice jar.  His touch, ever so familiar, sent a warmth through her that rivaled the glow of the oven.  Once a whirlwind of international explorations, their journey had settled into a comfortable rhythm, punctuated by the rhythmic rise of dough and the soft symphony of kitchen sounds.

      The news of their baby had been met with overwhelming joy.  Social media exploded with congratulations from their Whisk Me Away community, many of whom were now parents eager to share their baking-with-kids adventures.  But the most heartwarming reaction came from closer to home.  Mrs. Henderson, ever the baking mentor, had gifted Maya a well-worn copy of Grandma's Baby Bites, a collection of simple yet delicious recipes passed down through generations.
