About this ebook
Three best friends, Naomi, Shantel and Jameela find themselves entangled in one another's lives way deeper than they could have ever imagined when their childhood traumas begin to surface.
After a tumultuous break up with her fiancé', Naomi finds herself single and participating in a whirlwind of sexual exploits and one-night stands. But her promiscuity lands her straight into danger's arms, causing her to spiral out of control. Jameela has a new man in her life and her friends grow suspicious once her behavior starts to change for the worse when she begins to become judgmental toward their relationships and lifestyles. Meela is knocked off her high horse when her man's identity is revealed, causing her to lash out resulting in the loss of her closest relationships. Shantel seemingly has it all but encounters turbulence when her then boyfriend, Yusef, confronts his demons to rectify his unusual sexual appetite, revealing his troublesome childhood. Just as her heart is on the mend and she begins to settle into marital bliss, a ghost from her past visits her causing an upheaval in her perfect world causing her usually lighthearted and loving nature to become rigid and reclusive.
Daughters, the first installment in the series takes readers through the minds of three women, going through an emotional battle to become who they know they are destined to be. Infidelity, lies and betrayal plague three best friends throughout their lives, sending them on a mission to heal their inner child. But only the truth will lead to testimony as they confront the source of their traumas in this explosive novel that touches on family dynamics and how it can affect your outlook on relationships and love.
When given the opportunity to face the root of their traumas, each woman will inevitably begin a new journey. Will they choose to forgive and heal or begrudge and remain unchanged.
