Lessard feels that something is not right with the crime scene an at the same he becomes haunted by the horrors and terrors of his childhood when he was the sole surviving member in his familly mother, two brothers killed by his father. He becomes obsessesed with this case while suffering through the its byzantine twists and turns.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5That was painful to listen to. The author needs to stay away from anything romantic so drawn out and elementary. The book could have been 50% as long as it was and been more than enough. The detective character In this series is not believable. Don’t waste your time
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5So disappointed. What could have been a great story was turned away due to lack of imagination. Sometimes when authors lose their imagination they fill the page with a love story, sex or the birth of a child and they drag it out. Work place romance has been penned since the written word was printed. Give it a rest and come up with something new. This author didn’t even bother to change it up. Same ole plot. If only I could get my time back.
