About this series

Sylvia Moore returns to Dickens during the annual Christmas in July festival, hoping to land the New England location for a new Christmas romance movie. She knows the town will award only one filming permit a year but is confident the deal's in Santa's bag.

After all, she's the hometown girl with the hometown advantage.

But her rival, Chase Ellis, is also in town, and he's out to grab the Dickens location for a movie, too, working the locals and smooth-talking the town council. This is a familiar snowy path and Sylva ponders whether to confront or avoid him. They're both staying at Holly Hill Inn, so avoiding him—and his molten chocolate brown eyes—is impossible.

Then Chase proposes a sweet as Christmas candy deal. When that falls through, Sylvia counters with a deal of her own.

Both know their reputations and careers are on the line. Sylvia assures her boss the contract is in her Christmas stocking. Chase knows if he loses, he risks future jobs for his newly formed company. And if that isn't enough, the competition takes on an unexpected twist when the two sneak kisses that could scorch even the hottest of days during the Christmas in July festival.

Last Christmas, Santa made a wish…  Last Christmas Roz Henry lost her boyfriend and her job. With her beloved grandfather sick, she went home to the small New England town of Dickens. She'd found what she didn't know she was looking for: a second chance with the boy she'd left behind all those years ago, Cooper Brown. A widower, Cooper had never forgotten his first love. Christmas brings rekindled romance and a proposal, just like a perfect Hallmark movie. But what happens after the happily-ever-after ending?    This Christmas, Santa's wish is fulfilled…  A year has passed but Roz still hasn't started planning the wedding, and Cooper's starting to worry. Roz is, too. Is it just cold feet? Worry she's not living up to her potential? Roz comes from a long line of selfless medical professionals, so what's she doing working in a bookstore? She wants to be more than a housewife and mother, even though that life made her Grandma Tress happy. Her grandfather believed love never dies, but can it wither away from neglect? Roz loves Cooper, but she needs to be her own person first. Maybe a real happily-ever-after takes hard work, a lot of love, and some special Dicken's Christmas magic.    This is a small-town, sweet Christmas romance. It can be read as a standalone but features cameo appearances of characters written by other authors in the Dickens Holiday Romance series.

The small town of Dickens is alive with Christmas activity. Joni Smith shares the infectious joy spreading through the shoppers. There had been a time when she'd been desperate to be loved and had nearly lost her mind when it didn't work out. Thanks to insight gained in a Sunday church service, she's found contentment. Joni's happy working as a home health aide for wealthy Mrs. Northrop. She doesn't need a man in her life. She's done looking for love. But Mrs. Northrop's grandson, Christopher Northrop the Third, sets Joni's heart fluttering in a way that says that maybe love isn't done looking for her.    Chris Northrup has always done what his mother wanted. He's worked in the shipping part of his family's company, even though there's no chance of him inheriting the family estate, North Hill. But he has dreams of his own. One of them is to be a writer. The other is to marry Joni Smith.     Sparks flew from the moment they met, but Joni's independence has Chris wondering if he could ever be enough for her. Joni knows God loves her, but is she ready for a different kind of love? Together Joni and Chris might discover that, just like Christmas presents, love comes wrapped in all kinds of different packages. But they must be willing to open the gift that's offered and open their hearts to each other.  Author Note ***This is a small-town sweet Christmas romance. It can be read as a stand-alone but features cameo appearances of characters from other Dickens Holiday Romance series written by other authors in this anthology. ***
