Mariners-Angels Pick

After a two-game sweep in San Diego, the Mariners stay in SoCal for a four-game set against the Los Angeles Angels starting Thursday night.

With Luis Castillo on the mound, Seattle is a +100 favorite on the run line. Castillo is having a good season and should be able to shove against a below average Los Angeles lineup.

Los Angeles will roll with rookie right-hander Jack Kochanowicz on Thursday night. At 6-foot-7, Kochanowicz is one of the better prospects in the Angels system and had a 4.55 ERA in 16 starts in Double-A this year. Kochanowicz likely won’t pitch too deep into Thursday night’s game, so look for the Mariners to have some success against the Angels weak bullpen.
