Latest Player Updates

Tyler Lockett (thigh) was limited at Seattle's practice on Wednesday. (Source: John Boyle on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Lockett was limited at Seattle's practice on Wednesday. He is still battling through a thigh injury, but as he recently noted, he still feels like he will be ready to go for the season opener. However, even if he's active, the injury could limit his workload a little bit, which will give Jaxon Smith-Njigba more upside in a plus matchup against the Broncos.

Pharaoh Brown (foot) did not participate in Seattle's practice on Wednesday. (Source: John Boyle on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: The team has been optimistic that Brown will be ready to go in time for Week 1, but that's a little more uncertain now. It's concerning that he wasn't able to at least log a limited practice, and if he isn't able to suit up in the next couple of days, Seattle will probably be without him in their season opener against the Broncos.

Category: Injury Updates

Zach Charbonnet is not on the injury report and should be good to go for Week 1 against the Denver Broncos. (Source: John Boyle on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Charbonnet missed some time earlier this offseason because of an undisclosed injury, but he is not on the injury report ahead of the team's season opener against the Broncos. He should eat into Kenneth Walker's workload a little bit, but not enough to change anything for fantasy purposes.

Noah Fant (toe) was limited at Seattle's practice on Wednesday. (Source: John Boyle on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Fant did not fully participate at practice because of a toe injury that he's dealing with. It's not thought to be a serious issue at this point, and unless he carries an injury designation heading into the weekend, this doesn't carry much weight for fantasy purposes.

CeeDee Lamb is still having his workload monitored at practice and is 'building up' ahead of Sunday's game against Cleveland. (Source: Jon Machota on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: The Cowboys have taken measures to make sure that Lamb's return to the field is gradual and healthy, and that involves them still monitoring his workload at practice. HC Mike McCarthy noted that he is 'building up to Sunday', so he hasn't quite seen full reps at practice yet. This news shouldn't scare off fantasy managers and the star receiver remains a must-start for Week 1 of the season.

DJ Chark Jr. (hip) officially did not participate at Los Angeles' practice on Wednesday. (Source: Los Angeles Chargers on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Chark was not able to practice on Wednesday because of a hip injury that he's dealing with. It's a mildly serious issue, and it is threatening his availability for the team's season opener on Sunday. If he's unable to practice in the next couple of days, rookie Ladd McConkey and Quentin Johnston will both have more opportunities to make an impact in Week 1 against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Justin Herbert (foot) is not on the injury report ahead of Week 1's matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders. (Source: Los Angeles Chargers on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Herbert missed a lot of time this offseason while recovering from a foot injury, but he is close to full health at this point and is off of the injury report entirely ahead of Sunday's game. He should play and be a fringe QB1 in a matchup against the Raiders in Week 1.

Washington Commanders QB Marcus Mariota was limited at practice on Wednesday with a chest injury. (Source: Adam Caplan on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Mariota missed time during the preseason while working through a groin injury, but it now seems that the veteran passer is dealing with a new injury. He was limited on the first day of practice, and there's definitely a chance he will still be available to serve as Washington's QB2 behind the rookie Jayden Daniels; if he were to miss any time, veteran QB Jeff Driskel is currently listed as the QB3 on their depth chart.

Montez Sweat (toe) was limited at Chicago's practice on Wednesday. (Source: Bears PR on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: A toe injury left Sweat limited at practice on Wednesday. It's not thought to be a serious issue, but there's an outside chance that it affects his Week 1 outlook. If he is playing at less than 100%, that could be a tough blow for Chicago's defense in a matchup against the Titans.

Hunter Henry (foot) was a full participant at practice on Wednesday. (Source: New England Patriots)

Fantasy Impact: It was reported last week that Henry is unlikely to play in Week 1, but it appears he might actually have a good shot at suiting up. He was able to log a full practice session on Wednesday, and if he can keep that up, he should be on track to play against the Bengals. If active, he isn't worth starting in a matchup where the Patriots aren't expected to score many points.

Jamal Adams (hip) was a non-participant at practice on Wednesday. (Source: John Glennon on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Adams signed with the Titans earlier this offseason after being released by the Seahawks, but it's unclear if he's going to be able to make his debut for his new team on Wednesday. He's dealing with a hip injury and wasn't able to practice on Wednesday, and if he's not back within the next couple of days, we could see the Titans go on without him in their Week 1 matchup against Chicago.

Tyreek Hill (thumb) is off of the injury report ahead of Week 1's matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars. (Source: David Furones on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: As expected, Hill's thumb injury is no longer a factor, and he is off of the injury report entirely heading into Week 1. The star wideout should be started as an elite fantasy option in every league ahead of the team's season opener against the Jaguars.

Jaylen Waddle (calf) is not listed on the injury report ahead of Week 1. (Source: David Furones on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Fantasy managers have been concerned with Waddle's calf injury over the past few weeks, but it isn't a serious issue and he is off of the injury report ahead of Sunday's game against the Jaguars. He should be started without any hesitation in a plus matchup against the Jaguars.

DeAndre Hopkins (knee) was officially limited at Tennessee's practice on Wednesday. (Source: JT Ruhnke on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Hopkins was able to practice on Wednesday, but he was still limited because of the knee injury that he suffered earlier this offseason. Still, it appears that he is on the right track to play in Week 1, which would be good for the fantasy value of Will Levis but would hurt the workload of Calvin Ridley a bit.

Jalen Ramsey (hamstring) did not practice for the Dolphins on Wednesday. (Source: Marcel Louis-Jacques on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Ramsey is dealing with a hamstring injury that left him sidelined from practice on Wednesday. The exact severity of it is unknown at this point, and the next couple of days will be very telling as to whether or not this issue is of real concern. Miami's defense already faces a tougher matchup against the Jaguars on Sunday, and that could be made even worse if the veteran is unable to play.

Jevon Holland (ankle) logged a full practice session on Wednesday. (Source: Marcel Louis-Jacques on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Holland has been working through an ankle injury this offseason, but it's a minor issue and didn't limit him at all at Wednesday's practice. He should play and see a ton of snaps in a tough matchup against the Jaguars.

Malik Washington (quad) was limited at Miami's practice on Wednesday. (Source: Marcel Louis-Jacques on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: The rookie was not able to log a full practice because of a quad injury that he's dealing with. It's not thought to be a serious issue, but the team wants to be cautious with his recovery ahead of their season opener against Jacksonville. No matter if he's on the field or not, he doesn't carry much fantasy value heading into Week 1 of the regular season.

Joe Burrow (wrist) was a full participant at practice on Wednesday. (Source: Jay Morrison on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: As expected, Burrow faced no limitations at Cincinnati's practice on Wednesday. His wrist injury should be fully healed right now, and if Ja'Marr Chase is active for Week 1, fantasy managers should have no reservations starting the star quarterback in Cincinnati's season opener.

Chase McLaughlin (illness) did not practice on Wednesday. (Source: Washington Commanders PR on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: McLaughlin wasn't able to practice on Wednesday. He came down with an illness of some kind, and the team decided it was better to give him time to rest and recover. We'll see if he's able to practice on Thursday or Friday, but otherwise, Tampa Bay will be stuck finding an emergency kicker to start for them in Week 1.

Roschon Johnson (toe) was listed as a limited participant at Chicago's practice on Wednesday. (Source: Bears PR on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Johnson is dealing with a toe injury that left him limited at practice on Wednesday. It looks more likely than not that he will play in Week 1, but in the off chance that he is limited or out against Tennessee, we would see more work for D'Andre Swift and Khalil Herbert out of Chicago's backfield.
