Finn Balor Thinks WrestleMania 34 Entrance Was More Important Than Appearing As The Demon

Finn Balor wanted to change WWE with his WrestleMania entrance.

At WrestleMania 34, Finn Balor forewent his Demon attire for a new t-shirt, ring gear, and group of people promoting the inclusion of the LGBTQ+ community. In an interview with Sports Illustrated, Balor expressed his pride in deciding on that entrance.

"A lot of people maybe thought going into WrestleMania, ‘Well, if Finn’s not gonna be the Demon, it’s gonna suck.' I think what we did at WrestleMania is a lot more important than any Demon could have been," said Balor.

As a WWE wrestler, Balor felt the motivation to use his platform to promote change.

"I feel like not that they were excluded, but sometimes they felt like they weren't included. That’s something I felt a responsibility for, to use the platform that I have for good and to help maybe a small amount of people for the right reasons," said Balor.

At Money in the Bank, Finn Balor will be one of eight wrestlers in the Men's Money in the Bank ladder match. This week, he and the other participants from Raw will be in a Fatal Four Way Match.

Fightful Wrestling will have live coverage and a recapping podcast for both Raw and Money In The Bank.
