Jell-O is about as classic a dessert as they come. It's been a favorite treat since its launch in 1897. But now, it's mixing things up by literally getting mixed up with another all-time sweet — Girl Scout Cookies.

On Tuesday, Jell-O announced its first flavor collaboration in more than a decade: the new Girl Scout Pudding Cups. A spokesperson for Jell-O shared with Food & Wine that the cups will be available in Thin Mints and Coconut Caramel cookie flavors.

"Our Jell-O Girl Scout Pudding Cups highlight the power of two iconic brands coming together to create something special for our fans," Colleen Koubek, the brand manager at Jell-O, said.

But this isn't the only "new" part of this collaboration. The duo is also introducing a brand-new format for enjoying Jell-O, with the smooth pudding in one container and a mixable cookie crumble topping in another.

"This first-ever offering gives consumers the perfect blend of creamy pudding and delicious Thin Mints and Coconut Caramel cookie crumbles in every spoonful," a statement by the two brands read.

The Jell-O Girl Scout Pudding Cups will be available in two-packs at retailers across the U.S. for $2.99 starting this month.

Of course, if you want to try the snack while also supporting your local troop, you can always mix up your own Jell-O molds at home and purchase a few boxes from your local Girl Scouts to crumble on top. As the Girl Scouts organization shared on its website, after paying the bakers, "The net proceeds from Girl Scout Cookie sales stay local with the originating council and troop to fund activities for girls year-round as well as impactful girl-led community projects. Each council determines its own revenue structure depending on how much it costs the council to buy cookies, the local retail price to sell cookies, and the amount of revenue shared with participating troops."

The only downside is that you can only purchase Girl Scout cookies during cookie season, which usually runs between January and April. But at least now you have the new Jell-O collaboration to tide you over.
