Witheiler leads Wellington Management's late-stage private company investment activity across the consumer and technology sectors, the company has over $1 trillion in assets under management. Prior to joining Wellington Management he mainly focused on early stage investments as a general partner at Flybridge Capital Partners.
His portfolio includes now-public companies DraftKings, ZipRecruiter, Coinbase and UiPath, Affirm as well as fintech giant Stripe. His portfolio of private companies include Seatgeek, Scale and Skims.
Witheiler participated in the AI development company Dataiku's $200 million Series F in December 2022, four months after taking part in Seatgeek's $238 million Series E.
Witheiler joined Wellington in 2016 after nearly eight years at Flybridge Capital Partners, where eventually became general partner. Previously he cofounded Anandtech, a computer hardware review site.
