The Bucs and the University of South Florida (USF) announced a partnership in August focused on helping students develop a career in sports. The main aspect of the agreement will be individual and group-mentoring opportunities between Tampa's front office staff and students pursuing sports and entertainment careers. Additionally, at least one USF student or graduate will have the opportunity to participate in the Buccaneers Emerging Talent Program, which includes a capstone project where the student(s) can apply the
knowledge and skills gained over their year-long assignment with the club. The partnership also grants one USF graduate fellow the opportunity to participate in the capstone project and a chance to present to the club's executive board.
