The safety and security of your accounts and the soundness of our Bank remains our highest priority. The professionals at Forbright Bank are committed to protecting your personal financial information from unauthorized access. We are diligent in our efforts to continuously improve our procedures, operations, and Internet security technology to ensure stringent Internet security practices are in place to protect your information.

If your DEBIT or ATM card has been lost or stolen, please call one of the following numbers to cancel your card:

If you cancelled your card after business hours, please call customer service at 888-855-7778 during normal banking hours to order your new card.

If your CREDIT CARD has been lost or stolen, please call our 24-hour cardmember services at 1-800-558-3424.

Suspicious phone calls

Phone numbers and caller ID can be spoofed. Do not provide unsolicited callers any information and end the call. If you provided the caller with any information related to your account, please contact [email protected] immediately.

Suspicious emails

If you received a suspicious email that claims to be from Forbright Bank, do not click on any links contained in the message and forward the email to [email protected]. As a general rule, do not enter in any private or login credentials to websites originating from unsolicited links. The Bank will not initiate emails requesting any personal information, account or card numbers.

Suspicious text messages (SMS)

Do not reply to the message or click on any of the links within the message. If you have the ability to forward or send a screen capture of the text message to an email address, send it to [email protected]. If you received a one time passcode that you did not initiate, it may indicate that your account password has been compromised. Do not share this code with anyone else. If you clicked on the link and provided information related to your account, please contact us.

If you received a suspicious communication through social media that targets you as a Forbright Bank customer, please forward the entire communication to [email protected].

If you believe that your account may have been compromised or that you are a victim of identity theft, please contact us immediately to secure your account at 888-855-7778. You may also consider reporting ID theft to the FTC. Their website will offer guidance and a to-do guide on what steps you will need to take in the event your identity is stolen. You can also set up free 90-day alerts, or freeze your credit by contacting any one of the three major credit bureaus.

If you received an email confirming changes to your account that you did not make, please contact [email protected] immediately via email or by phone at 888-855-7778.

Log into your account in the online banking platform and set up alerts under the Self Service menu. For business bankers, the alerts menu is under the Administration tab. You can set up balance, transfer, and account change alerts.
