But it was Rihanna’s bold red polo-neck dress that truly stood out. This striking ensemble boasted a shiny top and a long bubble skirt made of individual loops of red fabric. The skirt wrapped around her right leg, revealing a thigh-high slit with every step she took. She completed this avant-garde look with long leather gloves matching the vibrant red of her outfit and pointed red pumps.
Anyone who grew up in the ’00s would instantly recognize this look as a nod to Britney Spears’s unforgettable red Latex catsuit from her “Oops!… I Did It Again” music video.
