Cobra Kai season 6's first instalment finally landed on Netflix this July, though fans gearing up for a full binge watch session will be sad to learn that there's a little while to wait until we get parts 2 and 3.

Yep, you read that right. While we'd just about come around to Netflix breaking up its show releases into two parts, Cobra Kai season 2 will be released in a painful three parts over several months.

On the decision to divide the series up, the show's creator Hayden Schlossberg told Today "15 episodes felt like the perfect number, in terms of the real estate of space, to tell the final chapter. [But] it's tough to binge all that in one sitting."

The first part of the sixth season sees Johnny being hinted at as Mr. Miyagi's replacement, while the team are shown stumbling their way to the Sekai Taikai championships.

Though with the finale of part 1 leaving us with no shortage of cliffhangers, we need answers – when is the Cobra Kai season 6 part 2 release date? Here's what to know.

Cobra Kai season 6 release schedule

Every part of Cobra Kai season 6 will feature five episodes, with its release schedule as follows:

  • Cobra Kai season 6 part 1, episodes 1 - 5 - July 18 2024 (8am UK time, 3am. ET, 12am PT)
  • Cobra Kai season 6 part 2, episodes 6 - 10 - November 15 2024 (8am UK time, 3am. ET, 12am PT)
  • Cobra Kai season 6 part 3, episodes 11 - 15 - TBC in 2025

You read that right. We have until November (at least 4 months time) until we get a second part of Cobra Kai season 6, with the final part arriving at least six months later in 2025. Ooft.

But we should count ourselves lucky, given the original release date for part two was November 25, with Netflix taking the decision to move this date up two weeks.

Until then: strike hard, strike first, no mercy. See you guys in four months time.
