The Biggest Series Releases Dropping This Fall

Posted by Lillian Boyd on August 16, 2021

Few things compare to the electric anticipation of the next entry in a series you're obsessed with–you get to drop back into worlds your brain has occupied since the last book and find out what your favorite characters have gotten up to since you last saw them. It's as simple as this: You get to find out what happens.

Below are some of this fall's most hotly anticipated series releases. These entries include the continuing adventures of Claire and Jamie across history, the last year for the students of the Scholomance, and the terrifying machinations of the Hawthorne family as they pursue the fortune of their dead patriarch.

These are the new series entries causing the biggest stir with readers on Goodreads, including the number of early reviews, additions to Want to Read shelves, and star ratings–every book here has an average reader rating above 3.5 stars.

Historical Fiction

The Outlander series gets a fresh entry as Claire Randall and Jamie Frasier find themselves reunited at last with their daughter Brianna in the hills of 1779 North Carolina. It all seems too good to be true–which of course it is, as the violence of the Revolutionary War finds its way to their door, forcing them to do everything they can to keep their family safe from the spreading conflict. You'd think that somewhere in time and space, they'd be able to catch a break once in awhile.

This new book will be available on November 23rd.
