Any recommendations for something to read after The Magicians trilogy? I liked it a lot - one thing in particular that I liked is that it is not set in some totally fantastic land, but some is on Earth and some on Fillory (which is maybe part of the reason I enjoyed the Chronicles of Amber series a lot also).

How do others feel about the television series? It seems to borrow many elements from the novels, obviously, but it certainly does stray from the original story line. I was just curious what others think. (I'm almost done with the second season).

I have one question, around the end of the book Quentin said that in order to save Fillory a god needed to die, just like when it was created. What god died to create Fillory? I think I missed that part.

Charles When Alice traveled back through time as a niffin, she sees the origin of Fillory. She describes the Tiger-god drowning itself in the sea.
