[close] We're a small group of ladies from far and wide that love all kinds of books. We read and discuss fantastic books relating to history from the classics to historical fiction. Our monthly book discussions include one formal read, moderator selected, and a few buddy reads, where members and moderators select a couple of books a month that they would like to read. The group has games, challenges, and giveaways as well as other topics relating to literature. Membership requires active participation. Happy Reading!

[close] Welcome! We are a book club dedicated to traveling the world one book at the time (and encourage reading books by non-English speaking authors). We also hold yearly reading challenges and frequent read-a-longs.

[close] Books & Musings is a small reading group for those who enjoy bouncing around all genres with a pull toward fiction. The intent is to keep the reading focused on a slightly more positive subject matter (think less true crime, murder, thriller, and violence, with more focus on finding those light(er)-hearted, thought-provoking, semi-upbeat, leaning toward feel-good reads that still bring a bit of curiosity and mystery within the storylines. As a group, we want to open up our individual tastes in books and grow our interest through recommendations we may not have chosen on our own. Book suggestions are welcome and encouraged! We will try to focus on one book per month based on suggestions from members and everyone will be encouraged to read at their own pace throughout the month, but asked to be mindful of spoilers when sharing discussions and quotes they enjoy. Above all, I want us to read new books, have genuinely interested people to discuss our reads with, and have fun doing it!
