I think it's great that our two main characters are trans and autistic respectively, and I thought the focus on friendship was great, especially in a middle-grade graphic novel. I also thought the art style was enjoyable and detailed. On the other hand, the story felt a bit all over the place, and I thought the side characters were a bit irrelevant and even seemed to just sort of show up halfway through. As of writing this review, it's only been about two weeks since I read this, and I already had to read the synopsis to jog my memory of the plot, which isn't a great sign of its memorability. ...more
