So Wrong is a college (new adult), why choose with second chance and fake dating. Just know this book is the first in the Boys of South Chapel series So Wrong is a college (new adult), why choose with second chance and fake dating. Just know this book is the first in the Boys of South Chapel series and it does end on a cliffhanger (as this author loves to do with her why choose romances)!
We follow Hunter, Greedy, and Levi. Hunter is the heroine and we see her relationship with both guys in the past and present (then and now chapters). Greedy is her ex boyfriend and Levi is Greedy’s best friend and their new roommate…oh and Hunter is fake dating Levi for reasons! Life is very complicated to say the least.
I will say I enjoyed Greedy more than any of the other characters. This book also only shows us Hunter with two heroes, so while it doesn’t feel very why choose here to me, there is promise of more heroes to come in the next books! So you definitely do need to read in order as well. I honestly couldn’t tell if I enjoyed the past or present chapters more. I just wanted to feel pulled in with these characters and I just didn’t. They were just fine and I needed a little something more. I did read a previous why choose series from this author (Boys of Lake Chapel) that I enjoyed more, but this has promise.

This story jumps right int3.5 stars. Unstitch is the 5th book in the Alchemy standalone series, and this one is a MMF romance for Dex, Max, and Darcy.
This story jumps right into it. Darcy is back in London and becomes a dancer at Alchemy, the club her sister Gen (heroine of Unveil) is a co-founder of. She meets Max, a member of the club and her brother-in-law’s best friend. They immediately have connection, hit it off, and get together. Shortly after she meets Dex, he’s the brother to Belle (heroine of Unfurl) who is married to a co-founder of the club as well. Darcy is super taken with Dex and feels pulled to him too, but Dex has a lot of past religious stuff to work through.
As with the whole series, there is tons of the characters playing with others along the way but not in an OW/OM drama kind of way. This book is provably my least favorite in the series, I just didn’t connect with these characters and sadly had a hard time with the story as a whole. It felt full steam ahead and I just wanted more character growth/connection instead. We do get some age gap in this group, Darcy is 25 and Max is 40. And it was fun seeing all the other characters from the series in this one. While not my personal fav, I can see plenty of readers having a good time with this read.

I’ve found the audios just hit right when I want to mix up my reading or take a break from other reads.
The greek mythology has kind of fallen to the wayside and it’s all about the political intrigue of this complex world. And of course the spice. This one is MFM and just a fun time. We have both a friends to lovers romance happening and then a second chance situation happening too, plus a triad situation. It works for them, the audio worked for me.

The Home Wrecker is the second book in the Goode Brothers series by Sara Cate! And this is a marriage in crisis, MMF, and does have cheating. I was very excited for the premise of this book!
“This entire time I thought he was the home-wrecker, the one who would ruin everything I have here. But it turns out that person is me.”
This is really a journey for Caleb, Briar, and Dean of finding family, acceptance, and religious recovery too. Caleb and Briar have been together since college, they have a daughter, they’re trying for their second child. And they’re both struggling in their marriage. Everything is so routine in their marriage, they’ve lost the spark, both feel like the other is slipping away, and they’re both afraid to bring it up to one another.
Dean is someone who comes into their life at the right time. Dean works as a sex worker at the club featured in the first book (that Adam and Sage own, Adam is Caleb’s brother). Caleb actually knew Dean when he was a young teen and was friends with one of the Goode brothers. After a fire leaves Dean needing a place to stay, he moves into the small house for rent on Caleb and Briar’s property. Very quickly Dean is pulled to both Caleb and Briar and they to him too. They kind of ask him/he volunteers to help them spice up their marriage and work through some of their communication issues that he so clearly sees. He ends up helping them explore what they really want and how to express/say that to one another, and falls for the couple along the way.

Leo is the agent for his twin brother, who is a NHL star and is used to getting mistaken for his brother. While at the airport on Christmas Eve, he meets Riley who thinks she’s chatting with his brother and he doesn’t correct her. They hit it off and after both of their flights get canceled, he invites her back to his place to spend time with him and his best friend Jace on Christmas Eve.
This is a novella and moves quickly. With the mistaken identity trope, it’s obvious what the conflict will be but it’s fun seeing the connection they form before that happens. Leo calls her Shortcake (he says her skin reminds him of his fav dessert, strawberry shortcake), he shaves her legs, we have toy play, and the use of a glass Christmas tree ornament ...more

Mike ends up surprising Deena with a night at a local sex club, where fantasies are made true. They have a “pleasure guide” for the night, who joins in, and things get hot and steamy fast! This was just a fun ride with all the communication. I liked Mike and Deena’s relationship, you can tell it’s built on a lot of trust and willingness to please their partner. It ends with them heading back home together and they even get some treats at the end of the night, an “adult trick or treating” if you will. ...more

Omg I am legit obsessed with this book and series! I devoured the prequel novella, Salt in the Wound, a few months ago and was so excited to get an ARC of this first book. I wasn’t even sure how this book would start after how the prequel ended, but I really loved the direction it went in!
We follow Tristan as he becomes Mark’s new bodyguard. We see the complex feelings he starts to feel for Mark and the relationship they start to form. It isn’t until months later that Tristan even learns Mark is engaged to Isolde and to say things get complicated, well this quote sums it up perfectly…
“I’m just a bodyguard, and she’s engaged, and I’m in love with her fiancé.”
I loved seeing Tristan with Mark, I loved seeing Tristan with Isolde. We have Mark, a former CIA agent, Tristan the virgin bodyguard, and Isolde the badass woman who wanted to become a nun but was put into an arranged betrothal with Mark. We get BDSM, play with submission and pain, and everything is just delicious. This MMF Tristan and Isolde retelling is already off to a fantastic start and this series is my fav from Sierra Simone yet!

Cruel Seduction is the latest addition in Katee Robert’s Dark Olympus series, book 5. Besides the first book, I’ve had a good time with this series and have kept up with all the new releases.
This is a MMFF/poly romance and this one was sadly lackluster for me. We have so many characters involved and their additional names from before they became part of the Thirteen was honestly confusing too. While I don’t care too much about the sort of strange, contemporary-fantasy hybrid world created here and still don’t think the politics/world make much sense, I keep coming back for the (light) Greek mythology-inspired romances since they can be entertaining and hot. While this one didn’t work for me quite as well as some of the previous books in the series, I’ll still keep coming back for the next!

Olivia is a human heroine who wakes up on another planet. Wondering if her boss at the gas station back on earth is wondering where she is, she runs into Dace, the alien king hero! Dace and Olivia actually met online but she didn’t realize she was chatting with him on the dating app. The dating app was created by his scientists to allow him to communicate with humans and he brought Olivia to his planet to meet. He wants her to stay on his planet with him and be his queen, she is a little more hesitant to stay and leave her life on earth behind but decides to share one night together first! Ebbad has served as Dace’s bodyguard for years, but also is his friend and lover. He ends up joining in on the night of fun that Olivia and Dace are having.
I love that we have an older, tall heroine (she’s 36 and 5’10”) and that all 3 of the characters are curvy! Pleasure on their planet is symbiotic (what she feels, he feels, etc) so that was fun to see play out! This is MMF so everyone is having a great time together and I love when all sides of a poly relationship feel whole (which it definitely did with these 3). We do have a language barrier between Ebbad and Olivia but loved seeing them communicate in their own way or through Dace. Kind of leaves off on a HFN, but it was fun!...more

I just loved the entire journey of the SPC series!
Eden is a character who has been featured throughout the entirety of the series, so her book will definitely mean more if you’ve kept up with the series. We start off with a flashback to when Eden first met Ronan Kade (hero of Highest Bidder) and how their friendship began. And then we jump into current day, where Eden has been struggling with keeping her private, home life separate from her life at the club, especially now that the owners of the club want her to take a more official role in SPC. Around the same time Eden runs into Clay, a former client of hers who became so much more than a client before she pushed him away. She meets his girlfriend Jade too who instantly clues into the fact that there was something more between Clay and Eden, and Jade becomes more than curious herself with the enigmatic Eden.
Clay and Jade have been together for six months, she’s his boss’s daughter and they’ve been sneaking around at the office. After meeting Eden, Jade becomes curious about her past with Clay and when he tells Jade that Eden was once his domme, Jade wants to know more. She ends up tracking Eden down at SPC where she asks Eden to teach her how to be more dominant. Knowing she’s Clay’s girlfriend, Eden first says no, but then calls Jade to apologize and ends up finding out that Jade is tired of being a people-pleaser and wants to learn how to be more assertive and dominant in life, so she agrees to help her. Jade and Eden start spending time together and growing closer, and then things get even more complicated when Jade says she wants to watch Eden and Clay together…
I loved Eden and seeing more of her character, I liked seeing her life outside of the club and the strength and independence she has fought for. She is one of those characters who doesn’t let people into her life and really doesn’t let others help her, so it was nice to see her have people she could finally open up to and lean on. I loved the cameos of all characters from the series, especially her close friendship with Ronan. There was something about Jade that just didn’t completely work for me, so while I wasn’t super sold on Eden, Clay, and Jade together, I still am glad they got their HEA and the epilogues were nice to see. This series will always remain a fav and I’ll definitely be lining up if any spin-offs ever happen down the road! ...more

This is a MMF romance between a married couple, Hunter and Isabel, and their best friend Drake.
“It might have started with a kinky arrangement, but it led us here, right where we’re supposed to be.”
Hunter is one of the founding members of Salacious Players Club, a BDSM style club where members can live out their fantasies. His best friend Drake has been head of construction for SPC and has felt like the third wheel for the entire decade of Hunter & Isabel’s relationship. The story kicks off with all 3 on a cross country road trip to celebrate Hunter and Isabel’s 10 years together, as well as stop to tour four different sex clubs to make it a vacation-slash-business trip. While visiting one of the clubs, Hunter oversees Drake and Isabel participating in a rope session together and gets very into the idea of watching his wife and best friend together. The next morning he offers up the idea to Isabel and Drake, at first they both shut it down but all 3 find themselves circling back to the intriguing idea…
This book brought all the heat I was anticipating and then some! I loved the deep connections everyone had in this throuple. Hunter and Drake’s friendship was so beautiful to see, Isabel’s relationship with both men was the best, and seeing all 3 together just proved how meant to be they all were. This author is always kind of hit and miss for me and I had mixed feelings about this one while reading. Things that didn’t work for me: we are dropped right into the story and I wish we got a better understanding of the characters because I didn’t care enough about them, story got bogged down with a political/spying plot that I could have done without. There is a lot of the story revolving around spying, thieves, politics, government, FBI, NSA, treason…all of that part of the story I wasn’t invested in. Which I realized already into the read that this loosely ties into/exists in the same world as the author’s New Camelot series which I really wasn’t a fan of. What I did like: genderbent retelling of Robin Hood but make it contemporary (so fun!), BDSM club scenes, getting 2 hot second chance romances, conversations about kink and limits, lots of steam, multiple aftercare scenes, the ending....more

This is book 3 in the NashvillThis was enjoyable for what it is (a whole lot of sexy times) but did miss out on some of the emotional aspects for me. This is book 3 in the Nashville Neighborhood series, so we do have some familiar characters in here (both previous couples make appearances). We even met Lilith in the first book, as she is a vet tech and works with Cassidy (the heroine from The Doctor). The Doctor is still my favorite in the series after binging all 3 back to back.
In this book Lilith ends up co-owning a stray cat with her reclusive neighbor Clay. After this very unusual meet up moment, Lilith and Clay decide to jointly take care of the car together with the cat Noir living at Clay’s house and Lilith coming over to take care of her. Not very long into this arrangement, Lilith jumps right into offering herself up for Clay…sans clothes in his office when he returns home. Clay introduces Lilith to pain and his world, he designs BDSM furniture and is a preferred member at a BDSM club. Clay and Lilith’s arrangement is sexual exploration only, neither are here for romance or a relationship. Very early into this, Clay has a work trip out of town and invites a temporary partner in to their arrangement to take the place of Clay (but Clay remains involved as the on-camera dominant leading the scenes between Mr. E and Lilith). Of course things get very complicated when all 3 start to enjoy this “temporary” arrangement…
This was pure sexual exploration as the plot, I went in knowing that ahead of time from other reviews and yeah it definitely delivered on that. This is a MFM throuple situation with one man delivering the pain and one delivering the pleasure and Lilith getting everything she ever dreamed of. Lots of scenes, aftercare, ménage moments, and exploration of their evolving relationship. ...more
