Seriously, I can’t begin to describe how wild this was- I loved every second. If you’re looking for something completely bonkers that will have you laughing and grinning away this is the perfect read.
It’s funny, it’s action packed, and it’s a fast paced YA adventure.
I don’t know how to explain it other than it’s the MOST Monty Python vibes apocalypse. Do with that what you may.

My main issue was I struggled to see what they started off with as strong friendship. It felt like only one character felt that friendship rather than it being mutual.
Saying that it was a sweet read, though it was a tad slow at times and could have had more to the story. A lot of yuri manga I have read recently really leaned into the predatory lesbian trope or was overtly sexualised for the male gaze and I was glad to see this one did not lean quite as much into that. It was more of a fluffy and chilled read.
The art style for this was really solid.

Whilst this does handle some stronger themes in their past, it’s a cute and cosy romance with a dash of drama and fake dating to keep things interesting. It felt fresh and the characters are incredibly lovable and well fleshed out.

This is my first read of Peterson’s and I throughly enjoyed it.
It follows a woman who takes on a job as a PA to a head of a large corporation, who is incredibly closed off emotionally. It had slight Devil Wears Prada vibes which I adored.

I was worried that this would be too fluff / romance centric but Maser does a brilliant job of mixing romance with action that is apt for the dystopian environment.
The story kept me gripped the whole way and I breezed through it in two days. Not only is the romance this captivating slowburn but the story of survival around that was fast paced and gripping.

This was a brilliant romance read. There’s an intriguing story beside the romance that had a dash of drama and angst for people that want a romance with more depth to the plot.

I feel like I should have expected this given it was 50 pages long but the pacing was horrendous.
Whilst the writing style was decent enough, the relationship felt so sudden and forced and there wasn’t much happening. Just a lot of the alien character travelling and the other mc waiting around for her.
If you can get it free on Kindle Unlimited it’s still worth a read especially as sapphics have so little rep in the alien romance genre, but having bought it I’m not sure why I bothered.

It’s definitely more light rivals than heavy enemy vibes, so if you’re going into this for pure hatred this isn’t the read for you. Personally I liked the lighter take as it made this a really cosy read.

The writing style was incredibly enjoyable and I found myself loving both characters. It was so warm and cosy and is a perfect winter romance. I’m glad I grabbed a paperback because I will re read this one.
Also the casual anxiety rep was well handled and great to see.
I debated giving this four stars but I just felt like it was a tad too rushed at times. Some scenes (especially spicy ones) felt very sudden and flew by, going from 0-100 in the span of a page or two.
Saying that, pacing was my only issue with this novel, otherwise I loved it.
Spice wise it had a few moderately spicy scenes but they are fairly brief.

First of all I was not 3.7 ⭐️ A poly (w/w/m) spicy novella, following the lives of three trans people, that feels like a hot cup of tea on a cold day.
First of all I was not expecting this to be spicy… it was a welcomed surprise. I went into this not having read the blurb, because the cover immediately sold me and I adored the contents just as much as the cover.
It delivered on the vibes PERFECTLY. Food, tea, sex, companionship and the love of literature all in a cosy forest / quiet setting.
It’s set in 1948 New York, and whilst transphobia and dangers are mentioned there’s nothing hugely heavy. It’s mostly brief mentions here and there. The book on a whole feels extremely warm and uplifting.
My only issue was the pacing at times felt a little erratic, and I would have liked to know more about certain aspects of their lives. I rarely say a book needs extra pages but this could have done with 50 or so more to flesh out the story around the spicy scenes.

Let’s start off with the fact the spice is immaculate. The author writes tension incredibly well and this was a really steamy and cosy read. It’s perfect for winter if you want something relatively low-angst and Hallmark movie esq.
I felt like the writing could have done with some editing and could have been more descriptive. With colours it was always brown leaves and brown trees etc. It definitely was very repetitive/simplistic with the language used at times.

This was another great romance but just personally not one I enjoyed as much (however you might if you’re fond of the pet names ‘kitten’ and ‘daddy’.) This is all down to personal taste but wasn’t my favourite read because of the frequent use of both. If that’s your thing, you will most likely love this one.
