Sarah Hawley COOKED.
Oh my god!!! Eleanora and Ben are my favs!!
Seeing Ben get his own book was so fulfilling. When I started this series, I knew I was more than ready for his book and I was exactly right.
This couple actually means so much to me, Ben is an anxious werewolf and Eleanora is your grumpy mistrustful vampire succubus. I enjoyed their chemistry and their story.
"Dick biting"... is something that actually GAGGED me.
Eleanora getting justice was so deserved, she enjoys so much love and joy and Ben gives her exactly that. I love myself a man that not only is in tune with her own emotions but the emotions of those around him.
I really thought it was interesting to see Eleanora's character development into not only society but her own personality. It was so great to see her grow confident and loving within her on skin.
I am thrilled for you guys to read this! If you love werewolves, vampires, steamy and hilarious content then this is the book for you!! ...more

I love a grumpy single dad and a sunshine nanny duo, I thought Chloe and Will balanced each other out perfectly which made this book worth reading!
Ava is such a sweet little girl but I wish we would have gotten more of her personality and how it was affected by Chloe, it was more of a Tell and not Showing situation which I wasn't much of a fan.
Chloe was a sweet FMC, it was great seeing her relationship with Ava and Will develop, there were a couples scenes with her which didn't really make sense to me (The whole Reddit thing felt random). But overall she was a cool character to read about.
Seeing Perry WHIPPED was one of my favorite things ever, this man was so head over heels and it was so delicious.
The spicy scenes had me BLUSHINGGGGG, Daddy P really can get it!
I was super excited for this book when I knew that Perry would get his book, and so glad that I finally got a chance to read it!
Ngl I'm sad we didn't get more scenes between Arushi and Mitch, I was so intrigued by them. I know that they probably won't get their own book but they were great side characters!
Super excited to see what Steiner has next in store for us! (Literally so thrilled for the next book in the series.) ...more

Morbidly Yours is a killer debut romance novelA special thank you to Netgalley and Penguin Group Putnam for the Arc in exchange for an honest review!
Morbidly Yours is a killer debut romance novel from Ivy Fairbanks. This book has a little bit of everything, opposites attract, friends to lovers + killer romantic tension. Also lets take a moment to appreciate the stunner cover which was the main reason why I requested the book!
Callum and Lark are characters that win your heart over the instant you meet them. As singular characters and as a couple! I think this experience is so rare in books, which just made me appreciate the authors talent in making such likable characters.
As a sucker for slow burn romances, this book was so addicting. Every time I flipped the page, I was craving even more from these characters and when they finally got together, it was so incredibly sweet.
Lets talk about these characters!
Callum Flannelly is an introverted irish undertaker determined to inherit his grandfathers funeral home. The one problem is... he must marry to inherit the family business.
Enters Lark Thompson, your extroverted sunshine gal who has recently moved in next door to a funeral home, while she's in Ireland for a job position as an Animator and Cartoon creator (And actively running from her past).
Together Lark and Callum form a friendship to aid Callum in finding the perfect woman and help Callum inherit the business.
Oh, what could possibly go wrong with that?
If you enjoy slow burns and a good friends to lovers contemporary romance book, this is the perfect book for you!
P.S. Callum is such a precious hidden gem. He deserves all the hype. He is my aesexual king (who dirty talks in irish ;)
Cannot wait to see what else Ivy Fairbanks has in store for us next!...more

The Art of Catching Feelings is a BasebalTo start off, I would like to thank Berkley and Netgalley for the free arc in exchange for an honest review.
The Art of Catching Feelings is a Baseball romance between a professional baseball player who has fallen into a "slump" in regard to playing baseball and an accidental heckler.
I wanted to go into this book completely unbiased (I dislike the secret/hidden identity trope). But this book unfortunately was a reminder to me as to why I truly dislike it.
Now listen, Christopher was a really great guy, he was sweet, charming, and clearly recovering from a devastating tragic loss. Enters Daphne who flips his life upside down.
The reason why Daphne's character really angered me was because she had so many opportunities to disclose to Chris who she was and yet she chose not to (which I truly do not understand why).
Instead, she leads Chris on, online and in real life. And proceeds to have a relationship while fully lying to him. I was so disappointed too because I wanted to like her character. Like I was rooting for her to do the right thing but she really let me down.
Chris deserved so much better, and to be honest... Regardless of the ending, I truly believe that they did not end up together because what she did to him was so fucked up.
Maybe some of y'all will actually enjoy this book more than I did but personally I just couldn't get behind what was happening....more

The Gods Forbid was a truly enchanting book to read, this book had me hooked from beginning to end. And hope that it does the same just for you all!!!
Seb and Persy are two characters that together mean the entire world to me, they are the kind of couple that complement each other and continue to grow together which is a literal rarity. In other words, they are a GEM.
This book literally does an incredible job on showcasing the importance of love and healing. I am so happy that we got to see such an amazing character like Seb go through such development!
This literally is the perfect redemption story for a character that deeply deserves it!
As for the romance, if you LOVEEEE a slow burn like me, you will LOVE this book. The yearning and angst between these characters is so damn good. The number of times that even I myself was yearning for them to get together is crazy.
Towards the end, I literally cried because I could not believe that such a fantastic series has reached a conclusion. I truly need you guys to pick up this series, it has GreekXRoman Gods, Found families, delicious breakfasts, and literally the most loveable characters.
Trust me when I say that this isn't the last time we see Rory's work. We are only in the beginning stages *Evil Laughs*
Ms. Emily gets a shout out in this review as well, I never would have picked up this series if it weren't for her! And now I am doing my due diligence by recommending this series to y'all! ...more

This book was cute!
Given that this is Simone Soltani's debut book, this had some sweet components. The characters were great and I loved the interactions + relationships between the characters. Excited to see more about them in the future? ;)
Cross the Line is such an exciting F1 romance, and proves the point how much we need of the sport in romance books. What made this book better was the POC rep in F1 sport. I seriously need more POC F1 romances PLEASE!!!!
Willow and Dev are characters that will make you smile, I hope you end up falling in love with them because they are truly precious.
Some part of the book that I believe I should highlight is that this book has a pretty rushed ending and a little confusing timeline.
The last chapter has a combined POV that splits the chapter, and we are hit with a LOT to unpack. Plot and Ending wise, I wish that the author would have incorporated this earlier into the book, just so that the reader wouldn't be overwhelmed in the end.
Like it was mixed with a TWIST and your typical sweet epilogue material so it was hard to point out exactly how I felt about the ending.
As for the timeline, you'll see what I mean if you chose to read the book. In one of the chapters, there's a confusing time flashback but it's not clarified that it's a flashback until later on.
It was also kinda hard to pinpoint what exactly was the plot of the book, so I consider the book to be more of a filler kind then one that really has a sense of direction.
Apart from that, it was a cute book! I am excited to see and read more of Simone's work!...more

Now, I went into this book hoping to meet Phaendra, a badass fmc who is a race car engineer. Instead, I met a "pick me" fmc who not only brings down women but her own co-worker because she believes he is "sexist." Yet Cosmin isn't the true sexist between them...
Phaendra has a spheal in which she talks about how she hates "women-only" gyms and that to me KILLED her character for me. I understand that maybe she might not be a fan of them but to tear down their existence was unnecessary for me. To be entirely honest, I think Phaendra struggles with internalized sexism and unfortunately there is no confrontation of this.
If you are looking for a girls girl fmc in this book, you won't find it.
As for the actual romance of the book, I really couldn't feel it between the main characters. Phaendra's dislike towards the MMC Cosmin goes on to affect their work life to the point in which they are required to take a trip to get them to bond but instead, we see sudden increase in feelings.
Reading it felt like a fast paced ride that I was forced to go on.
This is one of the books that instead of a relationship, I wish both characters went to therapy rather than pursuit a relationship because I personally do not believe their relationship actually lasted longer than a few months....more

I had such a good time with this read, I was a little nervous going into it first because this is the first Krista & Becca Ritchie book that's not related to the "Addicted verse."
Regardless I was interested in reading this book because of the "Con-artist" starting a new life plot and hehehe, I was not disappointed!
The drama and thrill of this book was so enticing, I was literally gobbling this book up. Entertainment at its prime. And might I even throw in the word, "Addicting"
Phoebe is such a great FMC, who despite her terrible upbringing is doing the best she can. I literally fell in love with her character as soon as we met her and I truly cannot wait to see more of her!!
Rocky, my mans. This man is SOOOOOO fine. I was rooting for him too, despite his "hard shell" he is such a romantic at heart. And I cannot wait to see more of it.
Now I know that y'all are here for the drama and plot and I will obviously share what I can. I personally found it enjoyable, seeing how Phoebe, Hailey, Rockey, and the others ;) were raised was fulfilling to the plot.
The ending had my jaw dropped even though I knew it was coming!
I hate Addison SM (IYKYK)
Krista and Becca both did such an incredible job with this book, as a fan of their previous work as well. I look forward to seeing what's in store for this series next! If you've enjoyed KBR's work in the past, I have no doubt that like me you'll enjoy this book.
I'm intrigued to see more of these characters and will def be reading all future books within the series!

She was a cute read, if you enjoyed Twisted Games by Ana Huang, you'll enjoy this book!
I am always a sucker for the bodyguardxprincess trope, it is simply delicious.
Nina is a sweet FMC that I am sure everyone will love! She is such a sweetheart and truly cares, she is literally the coolest princess ever. She definitely gave Mia Thermopolis vibes, which was so sweet. I love seeing black women in positions of power!
Wesley's character was Eh, he felt very hot and cold at the same time. Like at first he only has sexual feelings for Nina and the next second he's actually in love with her? We didn't get to see the moment in which Wesley falls in love with Nina and I truly wish we did :/
I think where things personally fell flat for me was the romance itself, there wasn't enough development or chemistry in Nina and Wesleys relationship for me to truly be 100% on board with it. I feel like they needed a little more build up from them.
The climax towards the end was a little too much for me but I could see how others would find it entertaining. Don't get me wrong, the ending was super cute.
Super excited for you guys to read this, hope you enjoy it! ...more

Colin and Truly complement each other really well, I loved their relationship and wish nothing but the best for them.
Despite the fact that I enjoyed Colin and what he brought to the table, I did have my fair share of complaints...
Truly was so dramatic and for what? IDK what astrological sign she is but she was giving your typical Pisces energy for sure. Which I am not a fan of. The way that she was acting about her parents "break" was a little too much for me given her age...
I am not sure if this book really had a plot, I think with Alexandira's other books it's been clear but I didn't really feel like this book had a sense of direction. It was honestly pure straight up vibes.
Colin was great, he was probably my favorite character, I need to find myself a man like him. This boy was obsessed, literally a Ken.
I loved the Bi rep, although this isn't my favorite Alexandira Bellefleur book, I can't wait to see what she has in store for us next! ...more

Going into this book I was hesitant given that I had seen a post that promoted this book as a "Love Square trope" and for those who know me really well, you guys KNOW how much I dislike Love Triangles or Squares. BUT this book didn't use the trope in the way that I would particularly dislike.
What would categorize the book as a "Love square" is that our Main Characters upon the beginning of their fake relationship they are in love with other people but end up falling in love with each other. essentially moving on from their first loves.
Theo and Marcela are PERFECT for one another, they are a complete balance to one another. Marcela accepts Theo whole-heartedly how he is and Theo understand Marcela in such a personal way. They REALLY see each other which is exactly what they deserve in their relationship.
I loved this book so much, the plot, characters and chemistry were all there and kept me entertained! I am excited to read more of Gabriella's work!
I cannot recommend this book enough, The Next Best Fling is a book you for sure don't want to miss out on!! ...more

Another great romance from Jessica Joyce!
I love second chance romances, and this book proved exactly why. Georgia and Eli are two characters that I am sure will win you over. They are two flawed individuals trying to balance their anxiety while also figuring out there own lives. I think this is definitely a place in life that several of us can relate too.
I will always love a MMC who values the small things and Eli knows EXACTLY how to!! This man is attentive, loving, and a romantic at heart. Seeing him allow himself to be vulnerable after bottling it in for so long was reliving. I was fully rooting for my man!
I also love myself a man who can acknowledge his wrongs and strive to be better!
Also I need to highlight that this book is very Therapy Positive which I LOVEEEEE, One of my favorite things about this is that Eli acknowledges that Therapy is a process and that it won't automatically cure his anxiety. Which is so real and honest of him, which I applaud him for.
Georgia was honestly a great FMC, I liked that we had her perspective in this book because it really helped me understand her character and frustrations. Towards the end, this girl was tugging on my heart strings because she really deserves nothing but the best. The way she is so present for the people she loves is respectable, and to be honest I strive to be like that too!
Each individuals character development was really well written, in second chance romances it's always important to find out how the relationship ended and how that will impact their future which I think this book did a really good job in showcasing!
Overall, I think this book was a good one. It didn't get the full 5 stars because there were some scenes where I wish we would've gotten more chemistry moments between but regardless I still had a good time!
I am super excited for everyone to read this!!!

Thank you to Netgalley and Berkley for the Free E-Arc!
I am so happy to see that Native Romances are being written, this is so incredibly important and I only hope that this genre continues to grow and flourish .
This book serves as a great romcom with some of our favorite romance tropes, forbidden romance + office romance.
I think this book is not only a great romcom but one that is also not afraid to be real. Ember, the FMC of this novel experiences several micro and macro aggressions in a work office setting. We see Ember struggle in her work at first and trying to find her own voice but as the book continues we see her confidence grow not only in her work but in her own personal life as well.
Danuwoa, the mmc of this book isn't afraid to love loudly. Which I found really endearing, my favorite thing about his character was how he loved Ember regardless of what anyone said. He truly could see her for who she was and her worth which was so special to see.
I did enjoy this book but there were a couple things that didn't really hit the mark for me, mostly revolving around Ember and her lying habit. She would sometimes lie over the tiniest things such as loving cats when in reality she has a cat allergy and not a fan of them at all. Ember even expresses confusion behind lying about the smallest of things which to me didn't really make sense.
I understand that all human are flawed and sometimes we use white lies to hide things about ourselves that we are insecure about. But Ember's lying thru the book was a bit of a anxiety inducing reaction on my end. (This does get cleared up in the end and talked about which is a win of sorts).
regardless of that, I do believe this to be a good book and def one worth reading!...more
