This book is so much more than a funny gay best friend rom com. Dom is going through a very recent breakup. Patrick and Kate are having relationship issues of their own, and their friendships with Dom are also experiencing issues of their own. And then there is Bucky, Patrick's in the closet groomsman. Everyone in this book is flawed, and that's such a testament to DiDomizios writing. You still love them! You watch them individually and together grow. And while not everyone gets a textbook HEA, it's truly the most perfect ending possible. I loved this one! Loved every single page.

*sigh* Cole Kincaid is my new book boyfriend and I don't care who knows it! I loved their love story so so much! It was sweet and sexy all wrapped up into an absolutely smutty Hallmark masterpiece!
Eve has always had a crush on her brothers best friend Cole. After college he bounced around from town to town and job to job. Until he hears that his best friend Bensons dad is looking for an assistant coach for their hometown hockey team. So he comes back home. This time for good. The first person he runs into is Eve, fresh off a breakup. A friendship starts to form, which quickly leads to more.
This was one of the absolutely sexiest reads of the year! The hiding it from everyone angle was made even better by how hot the sneaking around was. And oh my goodness! While Eve has spent her entire life trying to hide her ADHD, ColI 66 there for her. He helps talk her down. He calms her in a way no one else ever has. It's such a beautiful love story because yes the sexy times 6 8,000hot, but the normal everyday is just as hot. A man who meets you where you are, builds you up, and asks how he can help is just heavenly. I loved the family dynamics and how absolutely lovely Heston is!
This was my first Veronica Eden book, and I immediately added every single one of her others to my TBR! I can't wait for the next one! ...more
That alone was enough to get me to bite, but when I saw this was also Mrs. Claus' story I was even more excitA sapphic Christmas romance? Sign me up!!
That alone was enough to get me to bite, but when I saw this was also Mrs. Claus' story I was even more excited! We all know Santa. But who is Mrs. Claus? Turns out her name is Kat. And Kat and Nick are in a very loveless marriage of convenience. And once she meets her beautiful neighbor Noelle, she starts to realize there's so much more out there for her. While Nick goes home to his parents house in North Pole, Alaska, Kat goes home with Noelle and pretends to be her girlfriend. Of course their fake relationship turns real very quickly.
So yes, it's trope-y. Fake dating. Holiday rom-com. But oh my goodness aren't all the good holiday romances?! We watch Hallmark movies because we're guaranteed a HEA. And what more could you want this time of year? Only this was so much more! Kat has a heartbreaking back story that really makes you root for her to finally get her true love! And Noelle is absolutely perfect for her! I loved every part of this book! The only thing I couldn't wrap my head around was their ages. They just seemed so much more mature than 22 and 23! In my head Kat and Noelle are 32 and 33. Lol Otherwise, this is an absolutely lovely Christmas novella I highly recommend! Also. Can we please get more queer holiday romances please?!?

After a fight over a Nutcracker leads to 10k in damages, Emma and Jackson are thrown in the drunk tank for the night. Together. Told in alternating timelines of Mallory in Beatriz Williams cemented herself as an auto-buy for me a while ago. And once again, this one is perfect! Told in alternating timelines of Mallory in present day Winthrop Island and Hannah jn 1950s Egypt, she weaves am extraordinary tale of true love, loss, and unimaginable heartbreak. The timelines are incredibly easy to keep up with and weave together beautifully. Perfect for fans of historical and contemporary. romance, this book is absolute perfection! One of the best if not the best love story I've read all year! It grabs you at page 1 and doesn't let go! I can't recommend this highly enough.

Let go from her job by what can only be described as her frenemie boss, Lottie has the brilliant idea to go walking in the wealthy part of town and find a rich husband. And she does. Kind of. While Huxley Cane is a billionaire, he's not looking for a wife. Or a girlfriend for that matter. But what he does need is a fake fiancee. And oh by the way can she also be newly pregnant? Considering she's out of work and needs the cash, Lottie takes him up on his offer. She'll be his fake fiancee, he'll pay of her student loans and help her find a job, housing, etc. What they don't expect is to actually fall in love.
Yall I'm a Meghan Quinn Stan! I LOVED this book! The banter! The sexiness! The love and heart. And did you notice the similarities to Pretty Woman? Minus the prostitution of course. I loved how Lottie made Huxley human and how he taught her to be sure of herself. They're so perfect together and this book totally played up their strengths apart and together. I loved it. Loved every page. Especially loved the twist at the end. And now if you'll excuse me I'm going to dive into the last two of the series.

How have I lived this long without her! This book was everything! It was equal parts loving and sexy spice and I unashamedly stayed up way too late to finish it! Both characters were so well developed, but Fox especially touched me. After being told his whole life that he was something, he had believed it. Believed he couldn't have a lasting relationship. And then he met Hannah. Adorable and sweet Hannah who made him want to be a good man for her. And Hannah! Her emotional intelligence was so refreshing! Instead of being stuck in a book full if ŕed flags, it was absolutely extraordinary to read a book where Hannah called out Fox on his avoidance of a relationship with her. She doesn't let him hide within himself. Instead, they communicate and talk and share their innermost selves, their likes and dislikes, etc. And the spice! ...more

First off, our MC's name? Oh, it's Mike Martin. And I promise you didn't have to look it up because it was said 78999992 times in this book. Just like that. Mike Martin. Who's that over there? Mike Martin. It was very odd for Aurora to keep calling this man his whole government name everywhere. In her head. Out loud. When described, he's always Mike Martin. I'm still unsure of the purpose of that, if there even was one.
Second, I just couldn't get into it. The eating disorder and grief representations were done with care and kindness, but it just didn't feel genuine. One second Mike Martin is so deep in grief he feels he can't breathe and the next boom! Engaged! It just felt entirely rushed with absolutely no chemistry between the characters. I mean they laugh during sex. Which trust me is fun and amazing with the right partner, but the way it was described I just picture her hyena laughing and him smiling away. And why everytime he smiles does the author right after go "click click click". I understand it's how his smile was first described but goodness I got it the first time!

Krystin to Krystin, a rodeo queen, and Lauren, an influencer, both apply to be on Hopelessly Devoted (think the Bachelor) for very different reasons. Krystin to find love and Lauren to gain followers and endorsements. But instead of falling in love with Josh, the perfect Jewish himbo with a door pun for every occasion and star of this season, they fall in love with each other.
First off, this book was so so real! Krystin is very unsure of her sexuality. She has never had a boyfriend and though she's experimented with her best friend, she's almost in denial about her love for women. Lauren knows she's a lesbian, but is hesitant to come out for fear of how it will affect her career, life, etc. What transpires is a beautiful romance between these two. Is it fast? Well duh! Its centered around a Bachelor type TV show. All of those relationships have to be fast! Even though it was a bit quick, that had absolutely no bearing on how well their stories were written or how believable they were. As someone who has dealt with questioning their own sexuality before, this was such a well written look at what its like to wrestle with those thoughts and questions and how no matter how accepting your circle is, it can still be hard to be true to yourself.
I loved this book! I loved it so so much. While it definitely addressed some heavier topics, it was also amazing to read about the various dates and the other show contestants. Having the plot center around a dating show was simply genius and added so much to their own self explorations both individually and together. I can't recommend this one enough!

Stella, a pilot, and Olive, a nurse, meet when Olive saves the life of a passenger on Stella's plane. Thrust towards each other in a once in a lifetime meet cute, Stella soon realizes that having Olive be her fake girlfriend will up her chances of making Captain. While this is a rom-com all the way, its also a true to life love story. Both have very sick family members. Both have demanding careers. Both deal with anxiety, depression, past relationship trauma, etcetc. A picture perfect romance this is not. But therein lies the absolute perfection. These two learn how to love the other well. How to calm them down when they're on the edge. How to show up for each other. And how sometimes Swedish Fish are all you need.

Jenny is an accidental influencer. Caught up in a scandal that threatens her follower count and livelihood, she heads home to Sapphire Springs for a few weeks. She plans to see her parents, attend her best friends wedding, and save a little money subletting her apartment. What she doesn't plan on is running into Blake. Blake from high school. Blake who always ignored her and hardly spoke to her all four years.
Now the town doctor, Blake has come home to Sapphire Springs to help the locals. But also due to the lack of queer people. After having her heart broken one too many times, she'd rather be alone than be hurt again. Unfortunately, Jenny walks back into her life. Her high school crush. The one who left her tongue tied everytime she walked by. The one she never got out of her head.
This book is everything a sapphic romance should be. Fun. Sexy. And most of all heartfelt. Watching Jenny and Blake fall in love while trying to dang hard not to is the absolute sweetest. They respect each other and love each other exactly how they are. Beyond all that, this book makes consent sexy! The best part is the fall setting. Halloween parties, hot cider, fall festivals, and spooky season are my love language. And this book has them in spades!
I adored this book! Even thought it's 90 plus outside, my heart is in Sapphire Springs. Finding out there's a second book set in Sapphire Springs featuring George made my little heart sing!
