I rI would love to write a nice cohesive review but it would be impossible for this. Nothing I can say will convey how much I absolutely adored this. I read it too quick. I tried not to, but I was completely sucked in and I had to know how this ended and had to know that Jude and Romeo were okay.
(They were, this is not a retelling of Romeo and Juliet but wow did it hurt my heart and soul just like the first time I saw Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo & Juliet)
Instantly this book made me feel like I was going to cry. I had a lump in the back of my throat from like page 2, it was hurting so much. The pining. THE MUTUAL PINING. It’s single POV, and god does it work. I didn’t miss Romeo’s POV at all. I would love this entire book as his POV lol but this was just utter perfection. Romeo said so much by saying not much. Single POV made this book even better. Jude wasn’t an unreliable narrator, he was harsh and sarcastic and so honest with himself and the people he let in… whilst also being absolutely none of those things.
I have loved every single thing by Jesse H Reign, but this was something else. The writing was beyond beautiful. The story ripped me apart. The tension between these two. The time flipping, the lack of outside influence to get them together, they’re inevitable, it was just always Jude and Romeo against the world ...more

The whole way through this book I was SCREAMING. Instantly hooked me, I didn't really know what to expect from Caleb and Travis and I wanted to go in blind so I did and BIG YES for this. Their relationship has been hinted at since book 1 and I needed it.

❤️Asher and Oakley❤️
Omgosh this book. I absolutely flew through this and could not put it down. I saw the blurb and knew that I needed this in my life. Anyone But Me is a hurt/comfort bully romance, this has a few triggers which I am going to put in the comments as they do have some spoilers.
This is an amazing debut, and an amazing read in general. I love a bully romance esp when it’s possessive and the bully is a big lil softie. BUT This is still a bully romance though, Asher is not an innocent lil bean (he is to me) and it took me a good few chapters to warm up to him. Now I worship him.
Some circumstances lead Oakley and his younger sister live with their uncle who is a nasty man. To say the least. They have learnt to be self sufficient and not to trust anyone, and to hide what happens. Oakley needs to graduate and needs to get him and his sister away. When Asher discovers some of Oakley’s secrets he pretty much immediately flips to the caring and possessive MC that I looooooove.
This kinda gave me Dirty Love by Bethany Winters and Bully King by Andi Jaxon vibes which I ...more

Benny is the younger (twin) brother of Asher & West, and some *events* lead to his twin, Emmett, crashing in his room and maaaaybe doing some classes for him.
Which is where they both meet Harrison. Or Bowser. Or Harrison! I actually don’t remember Harrison from FU1 because my memory is a sieve but I really liked him! I could just picture him so clearly with his plants ha. He is so kind and cute and patient. He’s the perfect other half for Benny (who is kinda kind and cute but also brash and chaotic and snarky) and he gives him so much support and I loved it.
Looking forward to the rest of this series and really looking forward to Emmett’s book. So intrigued!

I am part of Cora’s ARC team but really wasn’t sure on the redemption of Maggie’s brothers so, I didn’t ARC read Except You and have been putting it off for so long. I saw the waking up married trope for this one and just knew I had to read it, so, I read Except You, fell in love, and I’m furious with myself that I doubted these books because I absolutely loved them so I had to download the ARC for this one! I am so beyond happy that I have Matt and Max a chance. I’m a little worried about Mitch tbh but really looking forward to reading his book too!
Anyway, Suddenly You. We meet Matt and Coop in book one and I knew Coop was going to be a favourite of mine. I love a kinda mean but in a loving way character and he is exactly what Matt didn’t know he was looking for, or what he needed. When they meet in Except You they instantly hit it off in an interesting way, and their are sparks flying ...more

The Idiot is indeed about idiots, the two silliest billies that ever lived and I loved them so much. I also wanted to climb into the book and give them a stern talking to cos what a couple of dumb dumbs.
This is friends to lovers, idiots to lovers, queer awakening, himbo behaviour, a reserved and kinda quiet idiot and his sunshine silly billy idiot sidekick.
I was so excited for Jesse, I knew from The Gentleman that that he was going to be trouble. He comes across as pretty sheltered and almost spoilt in a way. His mum still does his washing for goodness sake. But I loved him, reading him just completely not getting things was heartbreaking and stressful and as much as I felt for him working things out, I felt much sadder for Murphy.
I find that queer awakening and friends to lovers can sometimes be a bit hit and miss for me because I am like but WHY NOW?! ...more

Ivy is out with their friends when there is an incident, and they end up waking up in their “dream” but not really their dream. And they’re with Lau. If you’ve read the first book then you were likely DESPERATE for Lau’s book and it does not disappoint!!! This was a perfect slowish burn because it had so much tension and so much cutey romanticness.
Lau is outstandingly grumpy and I am obsessed with him. This is all from Ivy’s POV and I would usually say I need their POV but I really didn’t necessarily miss it. He was so endearing from Ivy’s POV and how they kinda bullied each other was PERFECT for me ...more

This book is Reuben and Vo’ak, and a good chunk of side characters were introduced leaving lil nuggets for their own books.
Reuben was abducted from Earth after reuniting with his sister, so he’s pretty stressed. There are lots of options for planets but he gets sent to the “low skills” planet which is where he meets his fated mate, Vo’ak.

This had such Beauty and the Beast vibes and casual references which I absolutely loved. I love an alien romance with a language barrier (the thumbs up bit cracked me up, so simple but so amusing ha). I loved Lendel and Kesk, I loved their bickering and they were funny.
Clay is a pilot for the ISE Explorer looking black wobbly space things, when the ship gets sucked into the black wobbly space wormhole that the scientists are studying. They end up accidentally trespassing into alien territory and that’s where we meet Arcay, the huge lilac Aldar.
He sniffs out Clay immediately and claims him, as Clay is apparently an omega - even though he is human.
It turns out omegas are VERY rare in the Aldar alien world so this causes A LOT of problems - as well as the problem that Clay absolutely does not want to be there and doesn’t understand why the grumpy lilac hottie won’t leave him alone.
There was a fair amount of giggles in this but also bits that made me so sad ...more

Please check the TWs for this one, there is a lot of darkness in this inc some slurs and religioushomophobia. I have put this here and not hidden because whilst this book has the prettiest pink cover and the main character is called Angel, the darkness is detailed and is distressing. Personal safety first! Daire is my favouritEee this was perfect grumpy/sunshine and I couldn’t put it down! I’m loving this series and I think this one is my new favourite. Daire is my favourite kind of MC and I adored him.
This is book 4 of the Park Avenue Princes series and this is Daire (grumpy scowler who only communicates through grunts) and Gavin (sunshiney blonde angel bb who is also Donovan’s younger bro).
After events of previous books, Gavin decides he needs to move out and ends up moving in with Daire, pretty reluctantly on both sides, even though they’re reasonably close.
Gavin has just gone through a pretty nasty break up, and confines in Daire. Daire takes matters into his own hands (literally) and this results in Gavin and Daire falling out. And results in a lot of ✨tEnSiOn✨ over a whole bunch of months and a small instance of a small stalking, and we see what Daire gets up to.
The spice between these two was EXQUISITE. They are pretty feral over each other and REALLY try to stay away. Until they don’t. Gavin is kinda bossy and bratty but melts with Daire. And Daire melts too alone with being a possessive psycho (complimentary) ...more
