Also he gets his brothers off his back, but honestly he’s been so smitten with her that he would do anything for her.
With a good forced proximity, marriage of convenience.. these two friends/co-workers become more. I love how both of them give each other strength and peace. Their love is truly shown how much they really know each other without being told. Also, Chloe’s Mimi is my total spirit animal. I absolutely loved the spark and wit she added to the story.

This book is 3 years after book 1 and Eli is now engaged to some realtor and she’s not in love with him. She knows he will give her everything but it’s at a price of being a pretty woman on his arm. While at work she gets a call telling her that her grandmother passed away. Obviously she’s devastated and leaves LA to go to Colorado. Arriving her ex, Luke, is there to pick her up. She’s pissed but has to think about her grandfather right now. On the way over, Luke explains what’s happening at the farm. He shares with her that her grandfather has been diagnosed with dementia. Hit with two blow and then picked up by her ex, she’s so close to losing it.
After the funeral, both Luke and Eli find out in the will they will share the farm together. They come together as business partners and figure out how to keep the farm out of the red.

You get so much in this book and I love that it’s the first book of the series because their story is so freaking cute! (There’s a Christmas novella that is so cute too about Dylan’s sister!)

It seems like Sage couldn’t do anything right in Fallon’s eyes. Until the tension breaks and they kiss. Oh man the sexual energy from both was so hot. They snuck around for a while but someone stated to the dean that they thought something was going on. This scared Fallon. Not wanting to get fired, Fallon begs Sage to save herself for him for 2 years. He knew she was going to make the Olympic team and then they can finally be together. I won’t state if she waits or not.
