I would not call this book "A Love story" per se, but rather a "Fight story" of a young woman yearning to learn about anatomy in a world created entirely by and for men.
This book has it all: heartbreaking family background, supporting friendship and love, but also characters and plots that will make your hair stand on end and leave you reading with disgust and utter disbelief.
I would recommend it to anyone looking for a darker "romance" novel in which the strong Hazel fights for her right to become her true self while uncovering dark and revolting secrets.
