All is not lost though, while Alinthia was expecting to be rescued by her gorgeous protectors, other forces have been devising ways to help out all along. Not just to escape, but to assist her in learning how to use and control her powers, save her guys and carry out her destiny. But saving the galaxy has put her on a narrow path between right and wrong. Where will her choices lead her?
While Alinthia deals with the aftermath of her friend’s betrayal, she also finds new friends in unlikely places. But Coop, Beckett, Maddox and especially Dane are suffering at the clutches of their enemies and odds are they would get out unscathed.
Siobhan Davis is a stalwart of the new adult, sci-fi romances, producing nonstop exciting stories full of angst and drama. She crafts a fiery heroine who’ll do anything to protect the people she loves. Davis matches fire with fire presenting evenly fierce alpha male protectors who will suffer through the cruelest of tortures in order to keep her safe.
The Warrior Princess will trap you in its thrilling spell and put the reader through a gamut of emotions, from surprise, to laughter and sexiness, to raw sadness going to darker than expected places. I can’t wait to see how this all unfolds in the following installments.
Without being able to reveal much else so as not to spoil any one, I can say that I really enjoyed Alinthia’s ongoing training. The scenes were so vivid, I could see them clearly in my mind’s eye.
The Warrior Princess is book #3 of the Alinthia series by Siobhan Davis. It is a new adult, sci-fi reverse harem romance. Told from various points of view with a cliffhanger.

Blaze marks the exhilarating finale to L.H. Cosway's Blood Prophecy Series. This book takes readers on a thrilling journey as Darya, embarks on a mission to rescue her former enemies, Vasilios & Sven, from the hellish realm of Oreylia.
The novel begins with Darya's escape from the Prison of Thorns, providing a sense of relief & anticipation for what lies ahead. However, her return to her safe & loving family is short-lived as she is compelled to save Vasilios & Sven, whom she has grown to consider friends, or possibly something more in the case of Vas. This noble decision requires her to leave behind her loved ones once again, creating a heart-wrenching dilemma that threatens to tear her & her first love, Peter, apart for good.
One of the standout aspects of "Blaze" is the remarkable world-building. The introduction of Oreylia, a captivating & treacherous realm, adds excitement & depth to the narrative.
Darya's character development throughout the series is commendable, from a teenage girl to an undercover operative to a courageous crusader. Her emotional journey, coupled with the burden of first love heartache & the weight of fulfilling her destiny, adds layers of complexity & relatability to her character.
The chemistry & tension between Darya & Vas are captivating. Even after betraying him, it becomes evident that Vas cannot deny his love for Darya. Their time spent together in the Blaze further deepens their connection, & Cosway masterfully crafts their slow burn relationship to be deliciously sexy & emotionally charged.
Blaze is a satisfying conclusion to the series. L.H. Cosway excels in world-building, character development, & crafting captivating relationships. This book is a testament to the author's talent for blending adventure, romance, & personal growth.

The Ruin of Gods is a thrilling paranormal romance that kept me on the edge of my seat! Maddox is a fascinating character who for centuries served the gods working hard and playing harder portraying him as both alluring and dangerous. The god of Life, Zora, is a complicated character with a tragic past, and her confusion about her identity and place in the world adds depth to the story.
The chemistry between Zora and Maddox is electric, and their steamy scenes are sure to make readers blush. However, their relationship is not without challenges, as an unseen danger threatens to tear them apart. The mystery and suspense add an exciting element to the story, and the race against time to save the day had me eagerly turning the pages.
Sawyer’s writing style is engaging, and the world-building is vivid and immersive. The Ruin of Gods can be read as a standalone, but it is set within a larger series, which adds to the sense of adventure and opens up possibilities for future stories I can’t wait to read.
Overall, The Ruin of Gods is a must-read for fans of paranormal romance who enjoy a mix of action, romance, and suspense.

Fallen angel and newly appointed King of the Underworld Amell has made some much needed changes and now his most important task besides keeping the universe safe from his subjects is the monotonous task of rendering judgement on recently departed souls.
That is until it’s Nyssa McKnight’s turn to be judged. The strong and resilient, insolent and sassy soul brings new life to his otherwise mundane existence and soon the two find love and redemption together. But can Amell protect the very fragile human in a real full of powerful and terrifying monsters, some of whom wish to overthrow the new king and wouldn’t hesitate to user her to do it?
I wanted to read more about Amell the minute I met him in the first books of the series. I was eagerly awaiting this story and was totally satisfied with its development.
I was swept away by this entrancing world. Brimming with magic, sizzling attraction and romance, I was held captive by Sawyer Bennett's expert storytelling, textured and nuanced in a way that had my imagination soaring and my heart in a stronghold. The Midnight Realm delivers the perfect red hot escape from the cold winter.
The Midnight Realm is easily one of my favorite books of the year and will go straight to my re-read list.

Dayra Cristescu’s life is as close to perfection as it can be. She has loving parents, friends, super cute boyfriend, is about to graduate and most likely get her dream job until she’s framed for murder. And although the authorities know it wasn’t her, they’re still asking her to the supernatural prison of Thorns.
Undercover to aid the investigation Dayra accepts the assignment to earn Vasilios’ trust under the guise of being guilty in order to gain his trust and figure out how he’s capable of wielding magic inside the blocks and wards of the prison.
But once on the inside, everything goes sideways and is truly forced to work with Vasilios in order to survive. In doing so she also learns about him. She learns to trust the man she once considered her enemy.
I loved this story and will have a book hangover for a while. I loved the world building, I could picture the entire story as a movie in my mind’s eye.
I loved Dayra’s character development. She was strong before, but after that mission she’s forced to grow. I love that she never gave up even in the direst of circumstances, especially since the danger is very, very real throughout the story which served to make it more thrilling.
As for Vasilios, I had empathized with him and his suffering in the previous book. My heart felt for him and his lost innocence all over again, but we’ll see how it turns out in the next book. All I’m saying for now is that I’m #teamVailios.
I wish I had the next book in my hands now! I can’t wait to see what happens.

Nathan is an enthralling new adult paranormal romance that seamlessly blends the supernatural with the complexities of love. From the very first page, the story captivated my attention and took me on an emotional rollercoaster that was both heartbreaking and heartwarming.
Nora appeared to be an ordinary college senior, but her life is far from typical. Ever since she witnessed her first spirit at the tender age of nine, her existence has been intertwined with the supernatural. While skeptics may dismiss her as a fraud, the spirits that visit her know otherwise. Nora's purpose is to help these lost souls connect with their loved ones, a role she embraces wholeheartedly.
However, everything changes when she encounters a new spirit, one that is breathtakingly handsome with piercing green eyes. This spirit is trapped between two worlds and requires Nora's assistance in remembering the accident that led to his ghostly existence. As Nora delves deeper into his complicated situation, she finds herself inexplicably drawn to him, despite the impossibility of their love. The conflict between logic and emotion creates a tension that kept me eagerly turning the pages.
J. Nathan's writing style is engaging and evocative, effortlessly weaving together the paranormal elements with the tender exploration of love. The author deftly conveys Nora's internal struggles as she grapples with her feelings for the enigmatic spirit. The emotional depth of the narrative is palpable, tugging at the heartstrings and eliciting both smiles and tears throughout the story.
The relationship between Kyler and Nora is at the heart of the novel, and it is portrayed with exquisite care. Their love is portrayed as a once-in-a-lifetime connection, one that defies the boundaries of existence itself. As their journey unfolds, their individual growth and shared experiences are beautifully depicted, melting the reader's heart in the process.

This steamy, passionate installment of the Dark Protector focuses on Garrett Kayrs, a vampire-demon hybrid who I’ve read about and watched grow from the beginning. He’s devoted to a fault but his loyalties pull him in different directions by being heir to the Realm’s throne, while also part of the circle of Seven and the Grizzly MC.
He also been looking for his mate for a long time. A fierce female who he’s dreamed about riding on the back of his motorcycle who also tries to kill him. So when he encounters Destiny Applegate, a beautiful but very, VERY breakable human, he can’t understand his attraction to her. He can’t mate her because she’s human and doesn’t fit what his dreams have showed him. Yet the compulsion to be with her is irresistible.
There are so many BIG moments in this story for Garrett and Destiny as well as the overall arc of the series that I won’t say anything else about the story itself. I can however, gush about Garrett, he’s grown up to be an amazing son, brother, friend, warrior. I loved each and every scene with him and other characters from the past series so much that it made me want to re-read the entire series!
Dessie’ character is interesting. She’s shrouded in a lot of mystery, but her goodness shines through regardless making her a wonderful match for Garrett. I did feel like there were some loose ends that needed tying at the end though.
The Dark Protectors series is happy place for me. Thrills, smiles and swoons are guaranteed and Garrett’s Destiny is no exception. I loved going to this world and getting an update on what everyone is doing, from the shifters, to the dragons, to the demons and even the Kurjans.
Rebecca keeps introducing new characters who I hope will have their own books in the future, but for now the overall arc regarding Ulric seems to be coming to a close and I CAN. NOT. WAIT. To see what happens next. I truly appreciate how Rebecca keeps adding interesting and original stories to this amazing series.
