This is my first Monica Murphy book. I have several of hers on my tbr and after reading this I might have to bump them up the list.
Nico and Everleigh were really cute together. This is a slow burn where it actually is a slow burn, nothing really happens between them until around 70 % and I loved that. They had great chemistry and I loved them both crushing on each other.
I did feel that maybe Everleigh should have apologised to Nico like he did to her, cause she was a bit unfair. That's my complaint for this book though.
I really loved Dollar, he was my favorite character. I felt m bad for him at times. I hope he gets his own book with a girl who really appreciates him cause he deserves all the happiness. I need Sienna and Gavin to get a book too, cause I need to know what happened between them.
This book was so freaking good. I'm both lost for words while wanting to say so I received an ARC for an honest review.

This book was so freaking good. I'm both lost for words while wanting to say so many things.
First off I have to talk about Pepper Winters' writing. It's truly beautiful. It's lyrical and gets you into the headspace off each character so effortlessly. Every thought, every emotion, their happiness but more importantly their heartbreak, I went through it all.
Usually when I pick up a book, where it's been awhile since I read the previous book, I'm a little confused at first. It takes me a few chapters to remember everything. Not with this book, it might have been a while since I read the previous one but I was right up to speed because I've been thinking about this series non stop. I've been going through old scenes daily.
My heart was in my throat during that big confrontation. I think I might have stopped breathing while I read it. But my favorite thing about this book was probably that time between the cliffhanger from the last book and the big confrontation. I really wasn't sure how Pepper Winters was gonna pull it off, but of course I didn't need to worry cause she nailed it.
One of my favorite things about Pepper Winters books is that she has the big confrontation every story needs but that's not the end. With a lot of books there's like the confrontation then a few chapters and then the epilogue. Her books aren't like that, and it makes it feel like you get an extra book all for free.
I was really happy these characters got the ending they deserved even if I wasn't sure how it was gonna happen. I am though a little sad this series is over. It's been a clear favorite of mine this year. I'm off to start yet another Pepper Winters series cause I need more from her....more

So glad to be back in this world, just sad it's over for a bit now until the next book.
I love Abby Millsaps' writing, she's such a good author. To me, one of my favorite thing from great writers is that I understand why a character makes a choice. I might not agree, I might even yell at my phone, but I get why they did it. Abby Millsaps nailed that in this book.
We finally got some insights into Hunter's time in London and everything she went through. I loved how Abby Millsaps handled Hunter's mental health. I thought it was a very good representation, and I really felt everything Hunter went through.
My only complaint with this book is maybe there was a bit too much London. I get why it had to be done that way, I just really missed Greedy and especially Levi.
I loved what we got from Greedy and Levi when we finally got more present time. I loved seeing all 4 of them together. And I just really love Levi.
That cliffhanger really shocked me. I cannot wait for the next book. I can't wait to see how Abby Millsaps introduces yet another character. It's gonna be interesting....more

THIS WAS...OH MY GOOOOOD...WAUW...JUST WAUW.
This was ah-mazing. I love J Rose's writing so much. It's no secret Blackwood Institute is one of my favorite series. In fact I must admit the only reason it's not number is me having a sense of loyalty to one of the first book I've read.
I was excited to see how J Rose was gonna add another series to the BI world. This wasn't what I imagined it was gonna be. It was so much better. I'm very excited to see how it plays out as the story runs parallel with everything that happened in the original series.
J Rose always writes the most amazing characters. Raine. Raine oh my gosh I love that man. I think I loved him from his very first scene. I loved how in this we got so much Ripley and Raine and not a lot of Xander and Lennox. It made me fall for Raine while keeping me really intrigued about the other two. And then of course we finally got more from them there at the end so now I can't wait to see more.
This was simply flawless. The plot. The characters. The writing. Don't get me started on the writing, J Rose is such a talented author. Everything Ripley went through with who she was, who she was willing to become and whether or not she could live with her actions. I was there for it. I felt every emotion and I absolutely cannot wait to see what happens next.
That was a big cliffhanger so I really hope it won't be too long before the next book....more

This was such a cute read. I greatly enjoyed it, I loved it right from the first chapter and I did not stop loving it until the final page.
I thought Radley and Lux were really great together. It was very much love at first sight for both of them.I loved how there wasn't much drama between them it was more drama around them.
This also didn't have that annoying unnecessary third act break up. I thought the whole issue towards the end was necessary for the story to move on.
I loved how Radley stood up for herself and when the big confrontation with her ex came she was the one to handle it. It was a great move on the authors part instead of Lux coming to her rescue and robbing Radley of the chance to finally move on.
One of the best part of this book was the friend group both of them had. I especially loved Lux's friends. They were really funny and very supportive. I saw Ace has his own book and I've already added it to my tbr. I hope Parker and Tanner get books aswell....more

I will truly never tire of Pepper Winters writing. It's so flawless and clever. Her characters are always amazing and don't even get me started on the plot.
I truly felt claustrophobic reading the part in the caves, then my heart broke for Henri before finally feeling excited for the jewels at the thought of escaping.
I find that often in books when a character changes their mind on something it can seems kinda rushed and you're not really understanding what brought on the change. Pepper Winters books are never like that. You feel every emotion her characters go through. In her books I might not always agree with a characters decision but I always feel where they're coming from.
One thing I'm loving about this series is the title of the books. I sometimes don't really get a title, like it has nothing to do with the actual book. But in this series the titles make sense and I think it's a really clever move on the authors part.
That last 10 procent of this book was nerve wracking. I was at the edge of my seat. And that cliffhanger was just cruel lol. Cannot wait for the next book. I need it asap....more

I don't know where to start with this. I finished this a few days ago and I have not stopped thinking about this book. I'm not kidding when I say I literally had a dream about the soldiers. If only I could remember the details of the dream lol.
I'm such a Nikki J Summers fan. She's such a talented author. The writing flows easily, the story is great and her characters are always amazing. This is no different.
I thought making the bank robbery such a long part of the story was a great move. I was kinda expecting it to be like 3 chapters but I was really pleasantly surprised. I loved how we got to see Tyler fall in love not just with Jess but with Ava too.
This is the final Soldiers of Anarchy book and I loved how it ended. Each soldier got their girl and the happy ever after. It was the perfect ending even if it was really bittersweet. And of course Adam continues to pull at my heart strings. He's such a scene stealer.
I had such a crush on Number 1. That's what Nikki J Summers does, she writes these side characters that completely steal the show. I was really sad when he died. I wanted Number 1 and the Taskmaster to get their own books.
And of course we are now at 9 as in 9 consecutive 5 star ratings....more

When I saw this was gonna be mmffm I was really nervous cause I've never read that before so I wasn't sure how it was gonna work but I was only a few chapters in when I knew this was gonna be something special.
This isn't a very fast paced book in fact not much actually happens. It's more character driven than plot driven and luckily that's my favorite. The character development was incredible. It was so well written and had my full attention. Every one of these characters came out different people from who they were going into that house and I greatly enjoyed reading each of theirs journey....more

This is Hunter, who is Joey from Boys Of Lake Chapel's best friends story, so we already knew her. This is her story with her stepbrother Greedy and her best friend Levi.
I liked that this is told in both the past and present. It was a smart move on the authors part because it meant we got to fall in love with Greedy in the past and Levi in the present.
Levi!!!! Greedy!!!! I love these men. Levi is such a sweetheart and Greedy is so lost in Hunter. I really felt for him but also knew Hunter had a good reason for everything she did.
I am very often a little annoyed with third act breakups. Just cause it's often like a misunderstanding or miscommunication or even just a stupid little thing that causes it. But in this book I really understood it. I totally got Hunter's feelings and why it had to happen.
That ending though had me so confused. Like who's this new guy. I'm sure we'll find out in the next book. Can't wait for that to be released....more

Holy freaking heck. Pepper Winters has outdone herself. This was simply incredible.
She's such a talented author. The ups and downs of both Ily and Henri's thought and emotions were perfectly written. I felt everything they did. Not all authors can do that and Pepper Winters does it over and over again.
I know Henri is technically the morally bad guy in this, but I loved him so much. He so desperately wanted to love someone and be loved by someone, he just has no idea how to go about it. I love a book where the hero falls first and Henri definitely falls hard.
Ily was so heartbroken by Henri's betrayal that she didn't know what to do with herself but man did she come back strong and full of fight. She fought back and really stood up for herself. I always love a strong heroine.

This was ah-mazing. Simply amazing. This book is about 15 hours long and considering I read the whole thing in 3 days when normally I read about 2,5-3 hours a day, proves just how good this story is. I could not put it down.
This book was so slow and it was perfection. There's something special about books that are slow and not much happening but still it had me at the edge of my seat. I was completely enthralled from start to finish.
To me the author who is the queen of slow is Pepper Winters. There's a reason she my favorite author. Her writing is incredible. And this book, no kidding reads like a Pepper Winters book. Considering how highly I regard her as an author, me comparing this book is about the highest compliment I could give.
I loved both Logan and Royce. What incredible men. I went back and forth between who was my favorite. I thought it was gonna be Logan but then Royce opened his mouth. And when I thoughts it was gonna be Royce then Logan went and did one of his 50 swoon worthy things.
I did feel for Grayson. The truth he'd grown up with his entire life was crumbling around him, and he was all alone in it.
I thought this book was gonna be my most anticipated release this year but no it's gonna be the next book. Cause holy heck that ending and an extra holy heck for that epilogue....more

In this book we actually get two stories. There's an out of this world, insta love not lust, actual love story. And then there's also a second chance romance.
I feel like books are getting longer and longer these days. And while I love slow burn sometimes I'm just in the mood for something fast paced with lots of drama. And Chelle Rose is perfect for that.
This book started out incredibly sweet and romantic but then it took a turn and got very dark. I do love my darkness. I loved seeing Kat and Damian work through the dark they'd been through. It wasn't easy but they got there in the end.

At first while reading this I was a little dissapointed simply because I got the idea it would be more of a stalker romance, just based of the blurb. I would say this is more of a dad's best friend mixed with gothic small town romance.
But once I got over that I was able to enjoy this for the story it was. Locke and Storee were both great characters. They had strong feelings for one another right from the beginning but both tried hard not to give in, especially Locke.
The amount of things Locke did for Storee, some more appreciated than others were incredible. He truly would have gone to the end of the earth for Storee.
The Hunt itself was an interesting premise. I would have liked more focus on that though, just cause I think it would have made the story even better....more

This is mafia romance at it's very best. I felt so bad for Giada. She has been treated like dirt her entire life and I loved seeing her finally be treated the way she truly deserves.
Dom and Giada are the definition of soulmates. Dom teaches Giada she's worthy of love and she teaches him he is capable of love.

I've had a crush on Will ever since he threw Bryony into that pond. So obviously I was excited for his book. And Nikki J Summers did NOT dissapoint, there's a reason she's my second favorite author. She absolutely smashed it.
Will and Bryony were great together. I loved how they teased each other, they both had great comebacks. Especially Bryony which was really fun. I love when the girl keeps the guy on his toes and Bryony did that.
The taskmaster was amazing. In the beginning I couldn't help imagining Alex Horne having gone absolutely haywire. But then he went and overshadowed Will a little bit.
That's something Nikki J Summers is the queen of. She writes the best secondary characters that often steal the show.
I enjoyed seeing another side of Adam. He's still my favorite soldier.

Salome might go down as one of my most hated villains ever. My god do I hate her. Almost as much as I hate Caleb Church.

Easton and Drake were so freaking cute together. Their chemistry was off the charts and the banter between them simply adorable.
I really loved how much of Easton's pov we got. In fact the entire first half is only from his perspective.
What I loved even more was that there was no 3rd act breakup. There was 3rd act drama but Easton and Drake faced it together. I felt like that was so refreshing. I feel like sometimes it can be a bit predictable and sometime the reason for the breakup can be downright stupid, especially if it's a misunderstanding.
