I love reading them and Derek and Wyn’s was no exception. They are both substantive characters that just pull you into their inner lives and the plot and I couldn’t put the book down.
The boss employee trope (specially with the angle in this book) can sometimes feel uncomfortable for me but the author did an amazing job with these strong characters and the situations they find themselves in … I was completely immersed in the story, didn’t feel any imbalance and I was racing ahead to figure what happens next. I absolutely loved Bridget’s character and loved that we got to see characters from other books.
This story was an absolute blast to read with the perfect amount of angst, loads of superlative steamy scenes and emotions building up until the MCs have to resolve to a happily ever after.. I love the way the tension is just drawn out whether it’s the animosity building between them at the beginning or the tautening sexual tension and feelings which lead to explosive situations and fantastic banter.
Highly recommend checking Wyn and Derek’s story out

Omg Ryan and Miller’s book was absolutely delightful to read. I loved everything about their story. The snarky back and forth, the resistance and the Omg Ryan and Miller’s book was absolutely delightful to read. I loved everything about their story. The snarky back and forth, the resistance and the giving in, the absolutely dreamy surreal quality of the storytelling, the humour and the scorching hot chemistry between these two made for a fantastic read.
Jesse Reign gives us two amazing characters, revealing their backstory slowly, and seeing them grow through the book was absolutely amazing. Ryan suffers from anxiety, is buckling under financial responsibility, grouchy, with a chip the size of Everest on his shoulders which makes him loathe Miller instantly. He’s also got good reason for that chip as we come to understand. Miller is sweet and perceptive under his popular, privileged, devil may care attitude and he wants Ryan desperately - willing to propose striking a bargain to pay him for sexual favours - and this sets up an unconventional dynamic between the two with loads of push and pull and longing and possessiveness coming out to play along with scorching hot encounters. Ofcourse all these beautiful heightened emotions come into play too and the way it builds towards the end was just sublime, I loved the climax and the epilogue. It also left me curious and wanting more and I’m excited to see where the series goes.
If you’re looking for a steamy, low angst romance with roommates with an unconventional arrangement between them making them go from hate to love and an HEA, I would definitely recommend checking this out
