Also liked that the premise was different in this one - Hunter is newly discovering all of this, whereas the previous 2 books the MCs have been well established and comfortable with their bodies.
I really enjoyed this one as the two became more than friends and comfortable with their needs and wants. More like this please!...more

Lynn/Virginia wrote a story about vampires - and one who shifts into a super adorable bat lol - and their human servants, and I absolutely loved it. Queer awakening, first times with a man, lots of fun in the shower and bath tub, a snarky other human servant, and some action and drama! Loved this so much. ...more

Then you gotta get this new book!
I absolutely loved the dynamics between Ryan and Miller. Ryan is such a mess, really struggling, and just not thinking when Miller suggests money in exchange for....services LOL. Miller, on the other hand, is very much morally grey golden retriever energy haha, and very obsessed with Ryan in a sweet way.
I also think that while there could be all sorts of inherent red flags and problems with being paid for services, the author handles it so well. Like, there is so much checking in still and offering safe words when they're playing, that it never feels like Miller is taking advantage of Ryan in a super shady way.
And I LOVED the epilogue so, so much. I love how it pulled everything together and the two of them end up in the perfect place together.

If you're looking for: -Step-brothers -Animosity/rivals to lovers -New adult college set romance -Bi-awakening and fun first times -High heat and lots of emotions -Good dudebros!
Then get this book! I think you'll fall in love with these guys and their group of friends.
I adore both of the MCs, how stubborn they are, their banter and UST-filled chemistry, how they act all tough guy and uncaring on the outside but in reality are craving love and finding that person.
Both Atlas and Troy have a lot of emotional and familial baggage - they have some toxic family members and trauma, but I love that they're kinda each others' safe haven throughout it all. That despite the bets and the rivalry, they also can come together and protect each other. (It's very much that "I'll pick on him all I want, he's my step-brother, but HOW DARE you come at him!!!" energy and I'm here for that LOL)
And I adored Atlas - his bravado and tough guy act, but who has a heart of gold and wants and deserves epic love. And Troy is perfect for him.
I'm so glad the conflict in the third act wasn't relationship or communication. For young college bros, they had surprisingly excellent communication once those walls started coming down LOL. So thank you for a solid non-break-up conflict, Riley and Devon!
This is a great new book from two great authors, and I want more!!

I’d definitely recommend reading the first book first since there is some overlap in timeline and we see how Kai and Silas are at the start of the overall series. I cannot imagine everything Kai has been going through, in love with his best friend for two decades. The PINING yall, all the feels. And these stupid men who just can’t TALK to each other haha.
There was a lot of push/pull with these two as they had to pull their heads out of their butts to talk and get on the same page finally. But BOY, let me tell you that the payoff and the wait for the spice is worth it! I love a good bi-awakening! And I don’t always love friends to lovers, but this one really worked for me, I think since there is so much angst mixed in.
I LOVE Lark. She’s basically on my auto-buy list, I don’t even need to read the blurb to know I’ll want to read it. (view spoiler)[I personally would love for the next book in the series to not have a musunderstanding/miscommunication as the drama in the last third of the book. The first book had this conflict and this one now too. And this is a very much *me* thing haha, I hate miscommunication/lack there of, or when someone sees something out of context and just jumps to the wrong conclusion and flees, but plenty of romance readers I assume are OK with the Big Misunderstanding?? Sorry, it's not my jam. (hide spoiler)]
And that epilogue! PERFECTION. Honestly, I loved the way this one ended.

In this one, Vaughn is a park ranger who works for Ramsey - oh Ramsey, you can't lie for nothing lol. He discovers that not only are Bigfoot real, but his boss loves one! Oh, and there is also a big blonde Bigfoot who's interested in him. AND on top of all of that, Vaughn, Ramsey, and the entire community of Bigfoot and their human friends must deal with increased interest of people wanting to come find if Bigfoot is real or not.
OK one thing I love is this whole interconnected world that Delaney has written, where all of the books have connections and crossovers. I LOVE when authors do that with the books they write!
Also, I loved Vaughn and Heptus together. I'd love to have had even more time with them together honestly. They were just FUN. I love Heptus snooping in Vaughn's window in that one scene.
And can we get Huck's story?? LOL

Until You is the first book I have read from this author, and I absolutely loved it. This one was super emotional, sweet, sexy, and you’ll fall in love with Charlie.
It features some of my favorite tropes: - bi-awakening - age gap (46 and 19 year old I believe are the ages) - care taking - lace and silk and a beautiful boy who loves pretty things
Paul is still pretty lost after the death of his son and separation from his wife. He rescues a young man from being harassed and tries to help him get back on his feet, wanting to do the right thing.
Charlie is young and trying to survive out on the streets. He winds up staying at Paul’s, although he is very resistant to his help at first.
I loved these two together. I love them building trust and a friendship and then having it become more. They had great chemistry together and I love how they brought out the best of each other.
Of course, the main conflict came from Paul’s past and things coming to light. I won’t spoil things, but they are super emotional.
Oh, I also have to say how much I love that Paul is friends with his ex wife and they have a great friendship. And she is supportive and kind to Charlie. I love that she’s not the villain here.
Definitely can’t wait to read more from this author!

I love the whole premiseI was recommended this book for an MC with a stutter, and I loved the premise and how things progressed for Jeremy and Monty. I love the whole premise of a hook up and then meeting months later and having to see each other on a regular basis.
I loved Jeremy, and I hated that he had such low self esteem from growing up with a bad stutter. But I love that Monty loved that about him. They had a bit of a slow path from hook up to committed partners, and I really enjoyed their story. Definitely fun escapism, with sweet moments, a bi-awakening, and 15 year age gap romance.

I am such trash for reincarnation stories lol. Add that in along with a bi-awakening, some major touch him and die vibes - from them both!, intense feels, and an incredible found family of demons, angels, humans, mages, and more - and you have the first book of the spin-off series from Lark Taylor.
Ferry has been a part of the series from early on, and I was so so curious to know more about him and get his story, so I'm so glad we didn't have to wait too long. There are so many new characters with how the series ended, and just so much potential for great stories in this spin-off!
We learn that Ferry had a mate - and has been forced to watch him reincarnate over and over, while barely getting to be with him. But now, due to how things ended in previous series, Ferry is free to go find and reconnect with his mate. However, his biggest challenge is that Leo won't know who he is.
I love that after his initial concern over his attraction, Leo is all for discovering what this thing is with Ferry. I love him. (I also adore his sunshine cinnamon roll younger brother, Matty, and I'm gonna need his story pronto, Lark!! Also can Leo's friend, Danny, get a story too?) And when these two get together, they are just fire - kinda literally since Leo is a firefighter, but also the chemistry between Ferry and Leo right from the start is just perfection.
I also adore all the meddling from the couples of the previous series. And I really think you would enjoy this book most having read the first series. There are so many great moments between them!
I thought the plot, conflict, and drama was well done. I can't wait for the next book in this series! Sebastian!!!

In this book, we have 2 dude-bros both lusting over the same man, and along the way those two dude-bros discover that they also want more than just friendship with each other. Gotta love a double bi-awakening! This story is told from all 3 POVs, and I really liked the voices of the characters coming through with the writing.
Mat is just a giant golden retriever, and Will is definitely the serious one and the caretaker, always wanting to make sure that both Mattie and Trouble are OK. Trouble took a bit of time to figure out and get to know. He is so enigmatic and closed off, both as the narrator and with Mat and Will, and I feel like as the reader, we're never really shown why he is the way he is?
Once he starts opening up to them and spending more time with them, I just loved how the relationship flourished. These three had excellent chemistry together. I do feel like several things happened off-page and we were told about them having had happened, rather than get to read about them actually happen. I loved the last quarter of this book, very steamy!

Ollie has just discovered that his girlfriend is cheating on him with his best friend. Luca is the front man in a wildly popular rock band. Their two worlds collide when they're both stuck together in an elevator during a power outage.
OK, so I love their first meeting! I love how the time trapped together really got them to see the other so clearly and quickly. I loved the instant connection and chemistry between the two of them right from the start.
Of course - flash forward to five months later and Ollie now has to travel with the band over the course of six weeks to interview them. Despite Ollie's attempts at staying professional, that spark and chemistry is still there and it isn't long before the two give into that connection. I just loved Luca and his persistence and infatuation with Ollie! And their banter and connection are just everything!
Spoilers for the conflict behind the cut. (view spoiler)[The main conflict, however, does revolve around my personal least favorite plot device - lack of communication and a big ol' misunderstanding. These guys are in their 30's, and let the one douche-y guy be the thing that splits them up? I get that they both have pasts and reasons for keeping things a bit close to the chest, but it just frustrates me.
I know I have a lot of friends who are also not fans of lack of communication. But really, Luca and Ollie have great moments together and great chemistry, so I wouldn't let this stop you from reading this book, just now you're warned! (hide spoiler)]
The ending is just perfection! LOVE how everything was resolved, and the epilogue was brilliant. I absolutely love all the characters - the band and their bodyguards - and I absolutely cannot wait for Kai and Silas, and Arlo and Jack's stories.

I loved the quick friendship between Jack and Corbin that developed into something more for the both of them. I love how different they were but how great and perfect they were together.
My main reason for knocking off a star was the middle conflict bit and how it was written. The main conflict was revealed in a flashback basically, like we were told after the fact? And it kinda seemed to spring up out of nowhere, both for Corbin and me the reader. Things are resolved, but it just felt...muddy.

Fun, sassy, and I just am falling in love with Kieran and Bash all over again!
Ahhhhh! Well everyone has been begging for Bash's story, but I had NOT thought to pair him up with the the last Bailey Brother from Ella's Chicago men series!
AND WOW I LOVED THIS!
I love the chemistry between the two - right away Bash and Kieran just have this easy friendship, a very opposites attract friendship at that, and the beginnings of interest for them both - despite Kieran being "straight" and Bash refusing to fall for a closeted guy. Kieran becoming interested in Bash just felt so easy and seamless - though I predict there will be some trouble and conflict ahead as the two navigate Kieran's super homophobic work environment.
And thankfully we don't have long to wait for the second and third books - because this cliffhanger is a bit of a doozy. I love Bash so much and I want a mega HEA for him. I want Kieran to get his head on right lol.
Those of you who aren't fans of cliffhangers might want to wait until closer to the release date of the third book. And while you definitely could start with this book without having read anything of Ella and Brooke's previous books, I think you'd enjoy it more having read the other series that all connect to this one.
Cannot wait for books 2 and 3.

Yuri and Angelo have been arranged to be married to each other by age 30 since they were both both. Their parents didn't know that Yuri was male until he was born, but they kept the arrangement in tact. Both boys grow up knowing that they are destined to wed, but both doing whatever they wanted in the mean time.
There was a LOT of push-pull between these two. Yuri knows early on he is gay, and despite how Angelo treats him, Yuri finds himself falling for his intended husband. But Angelo is very adamant that he is NOT gay and will sleep with as many women as possible before being forced to wed. However, despite all of this, the two engage in some kinky spanking and bit of mild BDSM play together. And when Yuri can't get what he wants with Angelo, he finds a horrible replacement.
The beginning was a bit difficult for me to get into, but I loved the middle chunk of the story where Angelo and Yuri are really falling for each other and Angelo is having to come to grips that he might not be as straight as he thought he was.
However, the last 15% also threw me off since it just got SO DRAMATIC so quickly! There was just all of a sudden so many things happening against Angelo and Yuri and it just felt like too much for the last 15% of the book. All these minor characters coming out and all the drama of the marriage arrangement coming to light suddenly. Had the family drama been for most of the book, maybe it would have flowed better for me, but after everything that they had been through with Yuri's ex, it almost felt....unncessary?
Lynn writes great characters, with great voices and snark and sass, and I loved Yuri and Angelo when they were together. I loved their texting when they were apart. But there were just a few things that didn't fully work for me to give this story 5 stars.
Looking forward to her next book as I just love her writing!...more
